This week on Dragon Ball Kai...!! Son Gokû travels to New Planet Namek to ask a Namekian to become Earth's God and make some Balls. Dende volunteers, ensuring a reunion between Gohan and Dende. Also, Mr. Satan announces he'll be participating in the Cell Games. The Gang set off for the Cell Games with the ZTV crew setting up shop as well.

Dragon Ball covered: starts 4 and a half page into #393, ends 11 and a half page plus another half page of #395.
Dragon Ball Z covered: Finished #172 and covered up through about 2.5 minutes into #175.

The premier of Ishizuka Unshô (Jet Black, Professor Ôkido, Hohenheim) as Mr. Satan! I miss Gôri Daisuke.

From what I heard, Unsho Ishizuka 's Mr. Satan was pretty damn good, though I do miss Daisuke Gori.

The new Mr Satan is good, sounds slightly more arrogent than Gouri's Mr Satan so far. Gouri's version is better but the new actor is not a bad replacement.

Mr Satan's students appeared in the next episode preview. I did like their little fight, a bit of comic relief before the serious battle was fun, so I'm glad they're in Kai.

The art in this episode was amazing!

From what I heard, Unsho Ishizuka 's Mr. Satan was pretty damn good, though I do miss Daisuke Gori.

IMO his Mr.Satan sounded younger than Daisuke Gori's Mr.Satan.

Agree with Penguintruth, Unsho Ishizuka Of course, Gori Will be missed, but I'm happy that he got a good recast. Hope he can pull mr. satan's hilarius scenes. but I have high hopes for it.

I had a good laugh when Bubbles tried to copy Goku with the Shunkan-Idou.
You know what they say....monkey see monkey do, *holds the backside of his hand near his mouth* Ohohohoohohoho~

Dende shows up, waves his arms over the model and presto!! New Dragon balls. There's really nothing to this guardian job, is there ?

Anyway, an awesome little moment to cling onto and that was episode 86.

I hate to say this, but I'm on the fence Mr. Satan's new voice. Daisuke Gori gave Mr. Satan a rough and tough badass-like voice, and Unsho Ishizuka is giving Mr. Satan the rough and tough attitude that Daisuke originally provided for Satan, but he's missing the badass-like voice from it. It's decent, but it needs just a TINY bit of improvement.

But I still think It'll improve over time. My hopes are very high for Ishizuka to improve Satan's voice and make it sound awesome.

I wish they cut out the scene of King Kai using Instant Transmission. If he knew it this whole time then why didn't he use it to teleport Goku to Earth to fight the saiyans?

Same reason why Mr. Popo didn't use his magic carpet to transport Goku there instantly.

It is a gag scene. It wasn't mean to show that Kaio has IT.

That episode went by so fast! It felt like a lot of stuff happened.

I really hope Kai continues on into the Buu arc.

When Goku is trying to concentrate to find the Namekians in the direction that Kaio-sama told him,and Kaio-sama is like buzzing around him and annoying him

I was wondering what you were talking about, too. Really, how could you possibly get "he's teleporting" out of that scene? Did some terrible dub make that up or something?
