I'm kind of disappointed with the Gotenks results. A pretty abrupt end for a really fun set up.

For a while I couldn't figure out why they had Universe 10 forfeit because I actually liked them but I guess it must have had something to do with XXI. They needed to come up with a way for XXI to advance without having to fight.

What's most interesting, though, is that there are only 10 more matches in the first round and some of the most interesting competitors haven't fought yet.

Making him lose would be the most interesting outcome of that fight and it would leave the good guys (especially Universe 18) in major trouble.

Imagine that XXI can control magic and is able to undue Vegetto`s fusion with a ray, for example. And Buu from Universe 4 has already claimed that he can beat Vegetto if he wants to, so they are already in major trouble, even without XXI being a threat.

That is useful in the case of a fight apart of the tournament. Gogeta is not enlisted at the tournament.

Why? A technique to fuse two fighters exists, so it would make sense for a technique to defuse people to exist (magical or not). And we already saw that the potara effect can be broken.

Power isn`t everything... Vegetto is only that powerful because he is a fusion. A being capable of taking the fusion out of equation would probably be able to beat Vegetto even if it was weaker than Vegetto.

And Vegetto`s title as the strongest fighter would still go unchallenged because he truly was more powerful than the opponent.

Of course this was just something I thought about, I have no idea what they are planning to do with Vegetto and XXI.

And I do realize that you are a fan of Vegetto, but having him be untouchable would make the tournament rather dull.

We've seen dozens of times in the main series and several times in this fancomic that people have been wrong about being stronger. I'm not so sure about that.
