I see. They also did a similar thing with the endings to the T.V specials.Turtle Marked Stone wrote:Yeah, it just seems more reminiscent of one that you see around on Youtube or wherever when they mix up and reuse footage from the movie to a song. Cell didn't destroy the arena with a ki blast, he destroyed it with a kiai!

Just being curious here..kingvegito wrote:Cell didn't destroy the arena with a ki blast, he destroyed it with a kiai!
What's the problem with that?
Tenshinhan's Kikoho is also a kiai type attack and it easily destroyed the tournament ring back at the 22nd Tournament.

True, but I'm still curious about what the big deal is with it then, if there is any.Piccolo Daimao wrote:I don't think he mentioned any problem.dbgtFO wrote:Just being curious here..kingvegito wrote:Cell didn't destroy the arena with a ki blast, he destroyed it with a kiai!

I just realized, going through my GT Complete Series set, that Kuririn's family is not still living with Kame-Sennin. This point escaped me for years.

It's about time that bum moved out and got a place of his own. Seriously, the one thing you don't do when you've got a wife and kid is remain living in a hut with a 344-year-old man whose life revolves around porn and would've probably made a pass at your wife before.Cipher wrote:I just realized, going through my GT Complete Series set, that Kuririn's family is not still living with Kame-Sennin. I thought this was a bit funny.

That's not why Vic Mignogna doesn't like voicing Broly, that's just anouther one of DB Wikia's made up stuff, he said at an anime convention once that he doesn't like voicing him because it hurts his vocal cords.SHINOBI-03 wrote:I thought this was a bit funny.

The Artificial Humans are an allusion of the circus:
#16 - Strongman
#17 & #18 - Abused animals that inevitably turn on their master
#19 - Clown
#20 - Ringmaster
Cell - Freak

In GT, the Black Cigar-Smoking Shenlong is actually Yi Xing Long.
Re: Dragonball Stuff You've Just Realized
Er, how does that work? He came forth from the smoke and transformed the balls into the dragons.NeoKING wrote:In GT, the Black Cigar-Smoking Shenlong is actually Yi Xing Long.
Re: Dragonball Stuff You've Just Realized
Well, because upon watching the scene, I noticed that only six evil dragons were actually shown being created and scattered across the globe, with he himself flying off into the sky in the end. The other six were shown in their affiliated elements(Si Xing Long was shown diving into a volcano, San Xing Long was shown crashing into a frozen mountain, etc.), leaving Yi the only one remaining. Not to mention that not too long after Elder Kai warns Goku that the black dragon was evil beyond belief/the most cunning dragon.jda95 wrote:Er, how does that work? He's actually said that numerous times at conventions. Re: Dragonball Stuff You've Just Realized
Are there really only ever six dragons shown flying out from Capsule Corp? I thought it showed one of them ascending into the clouds to form Yi Xing Long, but maybe my memories off and it only showed a shadowy blur rather than a distinct dragon.NeoKING wrote:Well, because upon watching the scene, I noticed that only six evil dragons were actually shown being created and scattered across the globe, with he himself flying off into the sky in the end. If so, that's a very cool catch.

I actually thought this was pretty common knowledge. lolCipher wrote:Are there really only ever six dragons shown flying out from Capsule Corp? Six dragons are shown to fly out of the tornado thing the evil dragon creates, each one with a dragon ball in their mouth. After they are shown to scatter (almost as if a wish has been made with the yellow streaks across the sky), the original cigar smoking dragon is shown flying into the air, though he has the same coloration as the energy dragons that took the DBs shortly before.
(images go left to right)

And here's what is shown during the scenes when the six dragons take form. Some of them don't show the energy dragon thing and some of them actually show the dragon itself. I'm not sure Toei's employees could decide on what they wanted to do...

Yes, there are six "shadow Shenlongs" that are scattered throughout different directions and then the last and final dragon, the original black Shenlong, flies off into the sky to wherever he is until he encounters Goku and Si Xing Long in the city for the final battle.Cipher wrote:Are there really only ever six dragons shown flying out from Capsule Corp? I er...know this is a one year old thread but I didn't think 17 pages was enough to warrant a second thread of this nature.
I just noticed Mr.Satan's Budokai theme came from a piece of his Ultimate Battle 22 theme.
