I think FUNimation just plans on redubbing the series which is totally fine by me, just use dragon box footage and we'll all be happy campers.

Good point. I own GT a majority of the singles and both Season Sets. I know I'll end up buying it again, haha.

Hellspawn28 kind of beat me to the punch, but I had an idea a while back for a revised version of GT under the Kai moniker that, rather than trimming it down (what the hell would they get rid of?) got rid of plot inconsistencies like using movie villains and such.

Of course, it could also just be a new FUNimation dub...

I think he means that they're going to simply redub GT with the Kai cast, not shorten it or replace the music. Either that, or he's joking.

He was right about Ocean dubbing Kai. Why not this? I imagine its a redub with the original 'touched up' dialogue to fill in some errors. Maybe sneak in some line of how Gohan can go ssj.

Never seen GT, but I want to. If they re-did it then guess that would be cool. Knowing Sean he's either flat out telling us something true (they love doing the show, if they could probably re-do it every year they would) or he's being his awesome self and messing with us.
