Accurate Cutscenes?

Post by songohan619 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 10:31 am

What cutscenes from the anime actually resembled the Anime?

Most of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai cutscenes mirrored the anime. Probably the best cutscenes in a DB video game to date.

This.
The cutscenes really were the highlight of the original Budokai, they were a treat to watch.

Piccolo's Death in Raging Blast 1 looks a bit like the scene in the Anime.

I also liked that they had next arc previews with Goku narrating. Too bad that they didn't cover the entirety of Z

Budokai did it best, hands down. Next would be Burst Limit. It tried to do it the same way, regardless of the fact that it also used a lot of identical animation. The important thing is that key moments from the anime were done very neatly.

Next on my list if Infinite World. It also had cutscense for key moments from the show in CG, which were quite nice as well.

Oher games like Tenkaichi 2 and Raging Blast only had a couple of actual cutscenes, which was stupid in my opinion. Why throw in only a few? Either put up some effort into making more or don't make any at all, jeez...

Despite a couple of animation hiccups, yeah, that was pretty accurate. :)
