Full Original Anime Cast?
I was just curious, what was the last Dragonball game to use the full original Japanese cast from the show?
Edit: That is to say the main cast, exceptions like "Baba's voice actor couldn't come in" is okay.

Re: Full Original Anime Cast?
It gets difficult when you consider voice actor deaths. For example, Hirotaka Suzuoki passed away in 2006, so it was probably Sparking! NEO that he was last Tenshinhan (I'd have to go back and check voice cast lists). I would note that as a major character with a major voice actor where a replacement would no longer be considered the "main cast".
Are you asking as in not with Kai replacements? Probably Infinite World in 2008. You might even go with Tenka-ichi Dai-bouken in early 2009, but since that covers the early parts of the (non-Z) story, all major roles are played by whomever they're played by at that point (including voice replacements due to deaths).
Kai replacements only came into play with Raging Blast onward (so that would be RB1, RB2, and TAG VS).

Ah, my sense of time is askew and I thought the tragic passing away of Hirotaka Suzuoki came along side the Kai release. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The Kai replacements are indeed what I'm mainly trying to avoid so thank you for covering that. It feels very odd hearing the wrong voices come out of characters. Thanks again for the prompt reply.

My copy of the American release of Sparking! METEOR lists Suzuoki as Tenshinhan, Cell Jr. and the Tenka'ichi announcer, actually.

Those may have all been stock recordings, so it's possible it was indeed him. I don't remember off the top of my head what there may have been for new material in the game for them all.JulieYBM wrote:My copy of the American release of Sparking! I think it's most likely stock, too. Tenshinhan doesn't do much of anything in the game that couldn't have just been brought over from a previous game.VegettoEX wrote:Those may have all been stock recordings, so it's possible it was indeed him. Would you consider Kouhei Miyauchi to be part of "the original cast from the show", though? I don't think he acted in any video game.

Well, he was the first Muten Rôshi.Adamant wrote:Would you consider Kouhei Miyauchi to be port of "the original cast from the show", though? I don't think he acted in any video game.
It's a shame he never got to voice in any of the games. Thank God Satô Masaharu got to, at least.
