Love the idea; would make everything much neater and tidier.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

I don't really see any reason to change. Granted, I'm fine if you do, and it wouldn't bother me. But I don't think it's a big deal, really. I mean...it's been like that for the past 6+ years, why change it now?

Either way, I'm good, though :D

Hmm, I am not totally satisfied on how the forums are organized now.

I would like to have a complete separation beetween "Merchandising discussion" and "Plot discussion". The first one would contain all these topics about DVDs or stuff like that (i.e. "New Toei DVDs"). The second would be any arguments about the story (i.e. "What is Rikum battle power?").

That's what I most wanted, there doesn't seem to have some clear separation beetween that stuff (selling items and story related discussions). For example, you have Herms' guides in "General Franchise Discussion" forums.

I also would like to have a separated forum for America-related stuff. Some kind of "regional discussion" forum. While the forum is in English, there are lots of members outside of USA. I myself feel like there are too many "Funi x other dubs" kind of thread whom interest only a limited part of members.

I really like the way you have things now and I wouldn't want it to change. I don't think the forums need a bunch of subsections, it will just be annoying to navigate. Sure some topics will be ambiguous in terms of where they belong but I'll take the occasional stray topic over a bunch of subsections nobody ever uses. I personally find forums like Arlong Park where there are a dozen topics and then 4 subsections within each really annoying to sort through and I wouldn't want to see that happen here.

Edit: In fact I have to wonder if maybe we shouldn't cut a section. Namely the "Ask Daizenshuu EX" Archives . Is it still necessary to keep around? A lot of the links seem to be broke. Not to mention...well it's locked and hasn't been posted in for 6 years.

Regarding your first paragraph, there IS separation between Plot and merchandise discussion. Plot would go in the section In-Universe Discussion, since its talking about things in the story and such. Merchandise would go in General Franchise, since its regarding the franchise and not the story. I don't see how it isn't separated.

The only reason Herms' guide guide hasn't been moved is because nobody's gotten around to it. Let a mod know, they can't remember everything.

I don't think there would be enough America related stuff to warrant its own section. Besides the occasional announcement thread and the weekly sub vs. dub thread, is there really that much? Its fine the way it is.
