, of course Yamhan as well. That's 3 originals we've gotten exclusive to the PS2 games. I pray we get at least one more original character for Sparking! exclusivly, I'd certainly welcome he or she with grace. Shoot, Soba was a small reason why I got Sagas now that I think about it.

He isn't exactly original, because when Gokuu considers to fuse with Mr. Satan with the Potara, a picture of Gotan is shown in the manga.

I hope this isn't necro-posting, but since this is the proper thread title, I'd thought I should bring it up here rather than the other Sparking! thread started by dragonbox2006. According to the latest interview vid on gamespot.com, confirmed characters that'll have thier own "story mode" shall be Raditz, Freeza, Bardock, and Nappa. I hope they're still using Budokai 3's world flying system as seen in B3's Dragon Universe, cut-scenes are already confirmed, yahoo!

Wow, I was expecting a Majin Buu story mode, but those would've been towards the bottom of my list of who gets a story mode (then again, was Brolly really on anyone's list for Budokai 3?). Thank god we can finally act out the Bardock special! Now all we need is to have Future Trunks play out the Trunks special (and a surprise appearace of the Tori-bot

) and I can call this the best DBZ game ever.

Edit: Look at this "Hand's On" preview. It says 15 characters for the story mode. Heres what I can guess:

1. Son Goku
2. Teen Son Gohan
3. Adult Son Gohan
4. Son Goten
5. Future Trunks
6. Vegeta
7. Bardock
8. Raditz
9. Freeza
10. Nappa
11. Kid Trunks
12.Krillin
13. Piccolo

That's what I'm pretty sure they'll have. And here's some possible storylines:
Baby, 17 or 18, Omega Shenron, Cell, Majin Buu (here's to using all forms in a story mode

.), Mister Satan (heh

) and Kid Son Goku (there's your Dragonball story mode right there!

(well, they do have Taopaipai, Master Roshi (you know Jackie Chun will probably be announced as an alt. costume soon) and possibly Piccolo Daimou if we're lucky.)).

Edt 2: Added Krillin and Piccolo to the most likely list. That leaves two more. Heres to a Majin Buu story and a Kid Son Goku story

Story mode for Raditz? Here's hoping for some SSJ action.. I mean, if we can have what-if fusions, why not what-if transformations? I can only hope..

A story mode for Raditz and Nappa? I don't like the sound of that. I'd perfer Kuririn and Piccolo. Also Gohan from the Saiyan saga since he isn't a teen or adult, I don't think u mentioned him.

Okay, I'll add Krillin and Piccolo. Kid Gohan, on the other hand, hasn't been anounced as a playable character yet.

I heard somewhere that there might be what-if transformations for Radditz and Nappa so who knows. And I would personally like to see the return of Yaham/Tiencha, the Kururin/Cell absorption and some of Super Buu's absorptions. Perhaps for Ten and/or Yamcha's story mode, they have to fuse to take on the Buu's.

(the first three are them protecting themselves)

Mystic Gohan
Tienshinhan
Vegetto
*Switch to Kid Buu*
SSJ3 Son Goku
SSJ Vegeta
Mr. Buu
*Go back to Mr. Buu*

Okay, I know this is a necro post, but since this is the appropriate thread, I figure this is as good a place as any to spill the beans on how the story mode is developed. I'll throw my two cents in about 24 hours, but to those who already have the game, give us the full inside scoop if you wouldn't mind. Don't worry about spoilers, this thread is dedicated to Sparking's story mode after all.

The Story Mode is done through "Battle Gates" that each represent a Saga.

So you'd pick the Saiyan Saga gate first and then select from the battles that heppened in that Saga and even some filler battles, for example a training battle between Tienshinhan and Chaozu, and Krillin and Yamcha.

Each movie villain will have his own gate with a couple of fights as well, and the DBZ villains will have their on "What If" Gates where you get to play as them and cause some havoc.
