I always liked Videl. I dunno why. I never really thought about it. I guess I like her take charge attitude and how she has common sense when she realizes the DBZ characters' powers are for real. I always like watching how she and Gohan fall in love. You'd never expect a tomboy take charge girl like Videl would fall for a softy like Gohan. Gohan, being raised in the woods with very little interaction with the city, is about as dumb as Goku when it comes to girls, so it's nice to see Gohan falling for Videl at the same time.

I guess I like Videl the most because I'm a hopeless romantic and Gohan & Videl is the most romanticized couple in Dragon Ball. Every other couple either just appeared together like Bulma & Vegeta, or Krillin & #18, ended without much reason like Tien & Lunch, or Yamcha & Bulma, or just ended up together by accident like Goku & Chi-Chi. Videl & Gohan actually seems genuine.

I actually found it pretty predictable, especially when you consider how easily the other couples got together.

But you're right, Videl & Gohan are probably the only geniune main relationship in the series. And I liked Videl. I liked how she regarded her dad and embarrassed by him, and then later realizing the truth about who killed Cell. And it was good to see a strong female fighter, at least.

...but Erasa still had dibs on Gohan.

Most favourite female character is also Videl for me, since I started the DB manga with volume 37 and in there she was the most prominently featured female(getting beat up by Spopovitch, realizing Gohan can transform etc.).
And yeah it's simply because of that.

It's gotta be Bulma. Great, funny character and a very underrated aspect of the Dragon Ball story is how Bulma changes as she goes from teenager to adult to mother.

Pan (other than DBM Bra of course) is the only female Saiyan with any kind of power. She is cute, feisty and brave even if she's a little conceited. Her crying and weakness is only understandable given who she is trying to fight. And she has the most development of anyone in GT, thanks to her friendship with Giru. Plus she was cute at the end of Z, but kinda flat. She got cool in GT, and didn't need SSJ to hold her own in a few battles.

What's up Pan buddy?

I love Pan in Z and in GT. In GT she's a lot like Bulma with KI control. It's always fun to see her having to deal with Goku's reckless tomfoolery. I love how no nonsense she is but at the end of the day she's still a kid and gets in over her head like any child. I also enjoy how full of adventure she is but unlike Bulma or Goku her parents won't just let her wander around the Earth getting into trouble. It's a nice bit of realism and I'm sure we could all relate to that parental restraint at some point in our lives.

The dub script like Bulma and Chi Chi made her whining a wee bit overboard but not as bad as it could have been.

I think I would have to go with Chi-Chi, but only Manga Chi-Chi as anime chi-chi is really annoying.

I also like Pan too! I don't get why everyone hates her so much. I didn't think she did anything that was that annoying.
