Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
hmm... I can't take pics cuz I kinda destroyed every digital camera device I've ever gotten possesion of... but I can describe it, at least.
I have the complete collection of VizBigs for Dragon Ball/DBZ, which are guarded by my SSJ Goku figure-thing doing a Kamehameha, and this old Cell Arc Vegeta figure I got for my birthday ten years ago... maybe I can attempt to use my water-logged ol' cell phone (that kinda works) to take a pic...

"Perfect" is the enemy of the good. True for Cell and true for real life.

I would definitely have to say my Daizenshuu, I finally got the last three supplemental volumes over the past year, they are absolutely awesome books to flip through even if it is (in my case anyway) just to look at the pretty pictures.
Otherwise I do have a few other nicknacks like a cel from Z (Piccolo and the Tenkaichi Budokai announcer) and the PC-Engine game that I'm happy to own.

We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
A tough question!
Well, I suppose my doujinshi collection is what I’m most proud of, at the moment, mainly because I have a few "grail" items, rare doujin and the sheer size of it.
But I also love this Lunch figure:

And these little figures:

(Sorry for the bad quality photos)
Oh! And I also really like this music box, it’s pretty quirky. I tried to film some audio but this crappy camera just isn’t complying.

Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
This is probably the rarest DBZ-related thing I own:

I LOVE Budokai 2!
The thing I'd like to get the most is a Tenshinhan drawing made and signed by Mr Toriyama. I doubt I'll ever get the chance to meet him though.

Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
The crown jewel of my collection isn't really anything really shouldn't be that spectacular to anyone else but, it has a lot of sentimental value. it's this binder:

Back in 1994 I got my first DragonBall card in China Town. I had no idea what DragonBall was but I loved the artwork and started going back every week for more. I can remember the feeling of being so unfamiliar with these characters but yet, intrigued. These characters seemed so foreign and interesting.

Then one day DragonBall was airing at 5AM where I live. I watched it and wondered why no one on the cards show up in the show? Also I didn't know why it was DragonBall when most of the cards I have say DragonBall Z.

During high school me and my friends would always go back, get cards, rent a video game, talk about what little DragonBall we knew. That was our weekend. There are about 1,000 cards in that binder.

Years later, I'm almost 30, those friends are gone, I haven't been to China Town since then. But, I still have my binder of cards. My cards of my high school memories.

My YouTube
Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

I'm a little newer to buying DB stuff, but while I was in Japan, I came across a 'Yo! The Return of Son Goku and Friends!!' DVD. Pretty happy about that.

Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
That pretty much sums up how I felt about Dragon Ball when I first became a fan in 1998. I'd see the posters of Gogeta at the card shop, and all sorts of unknown characters in the cool Japanese cards my cousin's friend had. Plus all the info on the internet... It was all so foreign and mysterious. XDTanooki Kuribo wrote:I can remember the feeling of being so unfamiliar with these characters but yet, intrigued. From my collection I'd have to say my Funi Dragon Boxes (1-4), Dragonball Forever book, and Kanzenban vol 1 and 34. Also a bunch of the original dragonball viz comics.

-It looks like they're being stacked, which isn't the case, I just took it at the wrong angle. :S
The reason why the Daizenshuu books look a little shiny is because they're in plastic cases.. You know.. Keep dust and stuff off. The Red and Orange one though, have never been opened.
My final piece is a sealed "Yo Son Goku." However, my camera is out of juice, it's in my YouTube video.
I keep one sealed and one unsealed, because I just might sell one someday.. Maybe to someone on Daizenshuu Ex if anyone's interested in buying one. :'p
