I really like the plain yellow hair for Broli instead of the green. And shit, am I the only one seeing the lightning in his aura at 0:24? Kinda glad they took that out, or people thinking he's SSj2 level in that movie would have even more... It does look cool, though.

They're from recordings of the show at the time the episodes originally aired.

I'd say the first seems more like incomplete footage, like they hadn't yet added all of the extra layers for energy and what not. That or it may have been a last minute addition, sorta like the filler episode where Goku turns Super Saiyan in the episode preview but has black hair in the actual episode.

This is very common with previews. Sometimes they'll include different animation, or shots that don't make the final cut.

The next episode previews for the anime have this too. One preview (can't remember which one) had Goku as a Super Saiya-jin, but gave him black hair in the actual episode.

I've always wondered this myself. Are there tossed out filler scenes from the anime that never saw the light of day? I've never heard of anything of that nature but logically wouldn't that be very likely?
