Super #13 vs. Semi-Perfect Cell

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Yeah, I just sort of came up with it a while back. I hate terms like "pre-something" or "post-something" except in a very broad sense, or where they're pretty much necessary because there's no other way to phrase them. I think the term I use gets across the idea of exactly which version of Cell I mean, so I haven't had any issues with it so far :P

Wasn't Piccolo a Super Namek in Movie 7? Didn't he not even budge Super 13 at all? Didn't Imperfect Cell get at least kicked away and then blasted into the ocean, albiet with no damage, by Kamiccollo?

Piccolo most likely isn't fused with Kami in Movie 7, since it seems to take place during an alternate android saga (hey don't look at me, I'm just trying to fit it into the timeline as best as I can).

As for the fight, I'd say Semi Perfect Cell would steamroll him. I've always put Super 13 at Android 16's level, as he dominated the saiyans without even trying. I know 17 and 18 could do the same, but Super 13 took them out instantly and didn't even flinch at their attacks. Also, fusions don't just add to one's power, it multiplies that power. If that wasn't the case, then Perfect Cell (who is also a fusion of three androids) would have been much weaker after absorbing Android 18. He went from being humiliated by Vegeta in his Semi-Perfect form, to using him as a mere warm up in his Perfect form. If you actually think about, it's possible that Super 13 could be stronger than Android 16 (movie villains are always overpowered), but nothing he did in the movie convinces me that he is.

Super N.13 is the one that humilhates the Super Saiyans

Semi-perfect Cell is the one that humilhates the one that humilhates the one that humilhates the one that humilhates the Super Saiyans

Huh, for me there is a huge gap in their powers

Well Piccolo is Kamiccolo in Movie 6. So I would think he would be as well in Movie 7.

How does that factor in? I don't know. Do we tone down Kamiccolo, or do we boost the SSJs?

I'd say a weaker Kamiccolo makes sense. If Piccolo fused with kami early on in the training for the cyborgs (given I set Movie 6 about halfway through that training) he'd have been a far weaker base and could justifiably have resulted in a weaker whole.

He wasn't in Coola's Revenge. It's assumed by some people that in Movie 6, because Dende is already the guardian of Earth, that Piccolo prematurely fused with Kami for more power. There's no real evidence either way, however, as you could potentially interpret Dende being the Guardian in other ways.

If Dende is there, them he should be Kamiccolo... however they didn't threat him like that when it comes to his power...

Is it even said that Dende was God in movie 6? I mean, if I recall correctly, Dende appeared in that movie before he came back to Earth even in the manga, so Toei wouldn't necessarily know that he was going to take God's place.

It's not said at all, but that doesn't stop people from assuming that he was. It may be that Toriyama already had a vague idea of using Dende as the Guardian after Kami and suggested it to the movie guys, or he may have actually done the character design for Dende and they used it regardless. It is somewhat convenient, but it's very loose so it's really all up to interpretation.

Dende being on the Lookout, heavily implies Kamiccolo has reemerged... Twisting logic , that Dende was just visiting, and that Kami just happened to take a shit at the same time, is just utter nonsense...

Also, what happens in Movie 6 doesn't need to have any bearing on movie 7 whatsoever. There's no indication they're at all connected. So saying Piccolo has to be merged with Kami in movie 7 simply because he was in movie 6 is flawed to begin with.

Semi-Perfect Cell wins this one with less effort, than when he destroyed #16.

And if that's not enough, the narrator at the beginning of the movie says that Dende is the new God of Earth.

Ah, well I stand corrected, I had forgotten that part. I only remembered him hanging around and it being assumed he was God. Still, my point stands. This isn't the same Movie, it doesn't need to have the same God in it.

I don't see why Piccolo needs to be fused with God just because Dende's the God of Earth. The movies don't even follow continuity and are basically in alternate universes. Especially when you take into account that Piccolo isn't even treated as the strongest in Movie 6--he gets to fight henchmen with Gohan and Kuririn while the Super Saiyans fight with the main villain.
