40% off Funimation products at Rightstuf.

Post by SonEric84 » Fri Jan 21, 2011 1:02 am

Just figured I'd let everyone know. Now is a good time to put in those Dragon Box pre-orders, they have both vol. 5 and 6 up! You can probably get some good deals on other recent releases as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

However, FMA: Brotherhood vol 3 and Evangelion 2.22 (both Funimation releases) take precedence. So I'll be getting those and wait to recoup before I get more DBZ.

Hey! I'm new :P

I'm pretty sure the 40% is taken off of the retail price and not the rightstuf price.
Fooled me at first.

No problem! Yeah, I put in my Dbox pre-orders but I showed my friend and he ended up spending $100 on a bunch of other Funi series. There were a few I wouldn't mind looking into, sadly I just don't have the extra funds right now. I think when you pre-order they don't charge you until it ships? (I hope.)

I pre-ordered both box 5 and box 6 but I didn't get any confirmation of my order. Did you guys get like a receipt or an e-mail after you ordered?

I ordered Dragon Box 5... and I was SOOOOO tempted to buy the Yu Yu Hakusho Season One Blu-Ray (even though I have all of them on DVD).

Thanks for the heads up!

Do we know if the YU YU Blu-ray is a up convert? Either way awesome that one of Funi's best series is coming out on Blu-ray.

I know it's going off topic, but considering that Japan released YYH on Blu-Ray, there is a chance that FUNimation received the HD Masters. The quality is top notch and crisp from what I seen from them... but we won't know until the set is released.

It just takes an hour or more, but they send confirmations.

I preordered Dbox 5 and 6 + YYH Blu Ray set 1. :D

Going to use this opportunity to get the Dragon Ball movie set, and Dragon Ball Season Five, finally.

The Dragon Boxes can wait until April. I'm sure I'll be able to find them at an equivalently low price then anyway.

Got my confirmation... and maybe I should of gotten Dragon Box 6, but since my rainy day funds I stash away is enough for MVC3 Collectors Edition for PS3 and Pokemon Black and White, I suppose I'll wait for it.

And Castor, since you're getting YYH in Blu-Ray... you better tell us how it looks, or I will barrage you with tons of PM's. :P

I just looked at the Yu Yu Hakusho DVD seasons (not Blu-ray) on Rightstuf... Check out Walmart for those.... Seasons 3 and 4 I picked up for $10 each, and 1 and 2 are like $13... Just mentioning for any YYH fans here.

I already own all the Yu Yu Hakusho DVD season sets, that's cool that it's getting another release though. I'm still hoping someday that they redub the movies and release the extra shorts.

I was thinking about picking up the DB movie pack, but I already own 3 of the 4 movies as singles. I guess part of me still hopes for a Dragon Box: The Movies release, though.

There's nothing particularly different about these releases, other than a progressive encode and some light DVNR. If you already have three of four singles, I'd suggest you just pick up the last single and wait for a Dragon Box release.

I already have Box 5 pre-ordered and I was wondering if I needed to cancel it and order it again or does it already has the discount?

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.
