Cross Epoch coming to America

Just got newest ish of SJ magazine and the next ish preview, says that the April 2011 issue, which is also the 100th issue of SJ, will have Cross Epoch, the DB/One Piece crossover. Thought I'd let you guys know this.

Cool!

Cross Epoch was a pretty cute short story considering that Toriyama and Oda worked together on it.

Still amazes me that Toei never animated it for Jump Festa.

I already read it a few years back. I might check it out and see how good of a job that Viz does when releasing it.

If you don't have a subscription to the American SJ, where would one get a copy of this issue when it comes out? Do book stores like Borders or Barnes & Noble usually have them? Or will I have to find a comic book shop?

I remember buying an issue of SJ at either wal-mart or borders around here, so I would imagine you could find it just about anywhere with a decent magazine collection. I'm going to try to pick this up myself.

HOT DAMN. I don't buy Shonen Jump on a regular basis anymore; only when there's something special. I'd say this definitely qualifies. Will have to make sure to keep an eye out for it.

Does anyone by any chance know on which date Viz tends to release their monthly issue of SJ? I would hate to miss next months release of this one shot.

Been a while since I had anything to do with the US release of Shonen Jump, but I seem to remember it being the first Tuesday of the month...though I could be wrong, or it could have changed in our years apart. lol

Thinking back I first noticed it on AP. I guess I figured the news would have spread on its own by then.
