Super Earthling
Re: Super Earthling
Yea Trunks did steal the plans from Gero didn't he? Hell they should have figured out a way to incorporate that cyborg strength into the humans, plus their ki strength, and make them at least on a Android 16 - Semi Cell range, making the relevant once again at least to a certain extent... We could have had Kuririn vs Pocus or something like that.. And imagine Tien with his Shin Kikoho with infinite energy? Cyborg Humans would be the way to go for sure. Sure the Saiyans would surpass them quickly once again, but god damn, that oppurtunity is right there...
Re: Super Earthling
The pride of a martial artist wouldn't let them accept that kind of help.
Re: Super Earthling
Tenshinhan for one doesn't need to be a Super Earthling, he got Shin Kikoho, which would have killed anyone before Suppressed Semi Perfect Cell was formed.
Of course, since the author didn't want the Arc to end that quickly, he deliberately made Ten a stupid jerk, who only utilized his strongest technique, when it became close to useless.

Re: Super Earthling
I always wanted to see a transformation, fusion, or something cool like that from the Earthlings.
Oh, well. At least I have "Unlock Potential" Krillin and Tiencha from the games. I always pretend Krillin's Unlock Potential is a transformation, anyway.

Re: Super Earthling
Yea that's what sucks about DB. AT's need to save villians for the main characters to finish off...
Kuririn logically had a very good chance to take out Freeza...
Tien could have taken out Cell and the Androids ....
That's about it, but if the humans would have caught them when they were in their weaker states, it would totally kill the series. Hey, at least they have the ability to kill beings that strong right?

Would Kuririn and Gohan (who were out of energy at the time) kill anyone weaker than Freeza with +50%?dbgtFO wrote:Tenshinhan for one doesn't need to be a Super Earthling, he got Shin Kikoho, which would have killed anyone before Suppressed Semi Perfect Cell was formed.

Re: Super Earthling
No, what kind of a bad example is that? Freeza wasn't affected the same way Cell was, showing a huge difference in the force of the attacks.Fox666 wrote:Would Kuririn and Gohan (who were out of energy at the time) kill anyone weaker than Freeza with +50%?dbgtFO wrote:Tenshinhan for one doesn't need to be a Super Earthling, he got Shin Kikoho, which would have killed anyone before Suppressed Semi Perfect Cell was formed.

It goes like this: #16's punch managed to push Imperfect Cell away, #16's punch against Semi Perfect Cell did nothing, Tenshinhan's Shin Kikoho pushed Cell underground meaning the sheer force of that blast was many times greater, than #16's punch.
How would anyone below Suppressed Semi Perfect Cell be able to survive that force raining down on them, when everyone before RoSaT training were nothing to Piccolo, who was nothing to Imperfect Cell, who was equal to #16, who was nothing to Semi Perfect Cell, who was overwhelmed by the force of the Shin Kikoho?

What suggests the human fighters couldn't take Pui Pui anyway? I only have him slightly above Ginyu.p123 wrote:Yea Trunks did steal the plans from Gero didn't he? A super blast from Vegeta against Freeza in his second form was uselessdbgtFO wrote:It goes like this: #16's punch managed to push Imperfect Cell away, #16's punch against Semi Perfect Cell did nothing, Tenshinhan's Shin Kikoho pushed Cell underground meaning the sheer force of that blast was many times greater, than #16's punch.
However Kuririn and Gohan, who were at the very end of their energy, managed to cause small injuries in Freeza with a battle power of over 60,000,000

Does this means Kuririn and Gohan attack was times greater than Vegeta's?
Re: Super Earthling
Eh, in both instances Freeza didn't get a scratch. He only got a little bit dusty, that's all. I doubt that those panels can be used for measuring Vegeta's, Gohan's and Kuririn's strengths.
Both times that happened, Freeza only got distracted. It's like base Vegeta's ki blast at Cell's face. Was base Vegeta stronger than SSJ Vegeta, who didn't budge Cell? Nope.
And that's all there is to it, I believe.

Re: Super Earthling
So true. Both attacks would have been absolutely nothing had they faced Freeza head on...well, they were still nothing even when Freeza didn't face them head on. lol Cell on the other hand knew Tenshinhan was attacking and, even with all his power, still couldn't escape from the downward force of the Shin Kikoho. True it didn't cause any real damage to him, mere scuffs, but Cell wasn't able to break through the attack.Godo wrote:Eh, in both instances Freeza didn't get a scratch. :That might have been SSJ Vegeta's blast at Cell's face.

Re: Super Earthling
You sly devil. Sure, it happened off screen, so we don't know. But he is at base when we see him. But either way, his fully powered SSJ blasts didn't phase Cell, so I still root for the distraction idea.lash wrote:

Re: Super Earthling
If Vegeta attacked as a SSJ, Toriyama should have shown, don't? Besides Cell might have sensed Vegeta's Ki if he was a SSJ.
Semi-perfect Cell being in pain doesn't mean the attack could kill him. The Shin Kikoho might not even be enough to injure Rikum.

Re: Super Earthling
First of all, no one is claiming that the attack would kill Semi Perfect Cell, since it was pretty obvious it couldn't.Fox666 wrote:Semi-perfect Cell being in pain doesn't mean the attack could kill him. The Shin Kikoho might not even be enough to injure Rikum.
And second of all, please tell me you aren't being serious about that? If we start using that logic then we might as well say, that Piccolo's Gekiretsu Kodan, which did nothing to Imperfect Cell would also have done nothing to Saiyajin Arc Vegeta....
....
Do you really believe that?
Re: Super Earthling
We have seen weak guys causing pain to strong guys all time. I.e. Piccolo, Gohan and Kuririn vs Freeza.
That doesn't mean Kuririn would have killed Captain Ginyu. For the same reason, it doesn't mean that Tenshinhan (whom battle power was what, 10 or 20 thousands?) can kill anyone below Semi-perfect Cell. It's the same logic.

Re: Super Earthling
If you actually believe Tenshinhan was 10.000-20.000 during Cell arc...
Re: Super Earthling
Yeah, seriously. He was fucking Chaozu up the butt every day. You know how strong that gets you? He was 40,000 at least.
Re: Super Earthling
He was doing some serious Mountain Training(TM). Training at that altitude with a sparring partner 10x weaker than him, with less oxygen (RBC doping), would definitely put him at 1,000,000,000 at least. I mean, Kaio's training couldn't even measure to Tenshinhan's Mountain Training(TM). Kaio's "What I teach you here can't be taught on Earth in 1,000 years" was just complete bogus. He didn't know what he was talking about, he hadn't even met Tenshinhan and learned about his Mountain Training(TM) at that point when he made that statement.Rocketman wrote:Yeah, seriously. Re: Super Earthling
Lol! I see what you're doing there. I seriously doubt Tenshinhan would just do some mountain training after all the types of training he has experienced, knowing the results of each - realizing the upcoming android threat which will be far worse than even Freeza. At Kaio's planet he downright said he would mix these new methods with what he knew once back on Earth. But to each his own and that's fine. IMO though, it's a little ridiculous to put him that low at that point in the series. It also would mean Shin Kikoho is like a multi-thousand multiplier, which is pure insanity, even for that technique, since it would even put the SSJ3 transformation multiplier to shame.
