Why is it that the "over 9000" video is so popular? For me, I don't see at anything special at all. I like the "it's over 1 million" (video) much better.

I never understood why the meme of "ITS OVER 9000!!!" is funny at all but that Oprah video had my laughing until I had tears in my eyes.

When I first watched Kajetokun's video out of the blue years ago, I did chuckle as it was completely random but when it started to appear in nearly every damn site and quoted on lots of videos, even non-Dragon Ball related, it got irritating. I got even more irritated when I found out that the actual line was 'Over 8000' and even had Daizenshuu booklets (can't remember the exact one) to back it up by stating Goku's battle power for Kaio-ken x2, x3 and x4 all being multiplied by 8000.

Yeah, I too found it funny when Kajet did it first. All of his videos were genuinely funny (sadly, he pulled them down). But then everyone decided it was cool to start doing it. As like any joke, it got overused and became incredibly stale, especially no thanks to those that weren't funny.

I enjoyed some of the random OVER 9000 videos, mainly the THEN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS GOING TO DIE!!!! one and the one that was a polka song with the lyrics being random quotes from similiar videos but overall I didn't find it much funnier than I do any other stupid meme.
