The clear series was about $40 or $10 a figure and series 3 was about $30 or $7.50 a figure.

Nice catch on the Ohzaru, and don't worry we all started off small at one point. It shall soon become large and embarassing, and force you to not invite your friends or girlfriend over anymore.

I picked him up for $22 with shipping. Seemed like a decent price to me.
Honestly I am going to try to keep the collection under control. Mostly just focus on collecting my main man Vegeta. There aren't nearly as many Vegeta figures as some of the other characters. I'm certainly not going to become some sort of completionist, making goals like "I am going to own every single item with Legend of Saiyan on the box." Of course no body could have a goal that silly

I think my next thing to track down will be the "Ultimate Spark" Vegeta figures. They look pretty cool.

Dammit! Don't tell me that. I want to live in my fantasy world where every single figure is a SSJ Goku except for like two of them.

I found this in a store that mainly sells American comics. I wonder how many of these editions were released.

I hate to say this, but you're being a fool. As we have already explained, you cannot control gashapons.

That's what they all say. But you were doomed as soon as you bought your first figure.

Psst, check this out. Tons of Vegeta figures.

What'd Viz use for those American comic book style release covers? Chapter title pages?

I would say that's against the rules but it's up to VegettoEX.

I ordered a box set of the first 26 Ocean dub episodes of Z. I couldn't help myself. TanookiKoriboh uploaded a video with some hilariously bad lines from that dub, and I just had to see the whole thing. It will be cool though, I've never seen this dub and it's an important part of Dragon Ball's history in the United States. A collectors item, if you will. I'll probably pick up the second box set soon. :P

Also, I recently got a copy of Tenkaichi Tag Team for my newly acquired PSP. It's fun, I'm surprised the controls are more in the way of Tenkaichi 3 instead of the Raging Blast controls. Multiplayer is a blast. I play ad hoc with my two brothers. Good fun.

Ok so finally got around to taking comprehensive photos of my Brand new HQDX Majin Vegeta(s), and my Legend of Saiyan set 3. I love the Majin Vegeta, easily my most favourite DX model, surpassing the SSJ4 Vegeta, Gogeta, and SSJ Trunks/SSJ3 Gotenks models I liked before this. The detail is ridiculous, from the grim smirk on his face, to the black rimmed eyes or the veins bulging out of pretty much every part of flesh on him. The most ridiculous thing is that the paint job is so good the skin actually looks real on the figure; CRAZY detailing on this one. I'm very pleased and impressed by the figure.

Image

My Legend of Saiyan set 3, meh not too much to say about it other than characters get figures that I don't think existed before this. (Bardocks' crew), so that's a plus overall nice set but nothing to write home about. Same high level of colouring and detail you should come to expect from Banpresto. I do like how Banpresto is making rare figures out of this set by releasing seldom seen figures like Prince Vegeta, King Vegeta, Bardock's crew, Paragus, Tulece, Kid Future Trunks, Ohzaru Bardock, etc.

Image

With the recent release of my highly anticipated The Legend of Saiyan DX Part III SSJ Vegeta and SSJ Trunks(woo!), My Legend of Saiyan full collection is halfway complete, I cannot wait to own every single piece of merchandise with the "Legend of Saiyan" namesake bequeathed to it. :D
I also like the whole "father-son" motif that the Legend of Saiyan DX releases are sticking to.
Just got Legend of Saiyan 4 in the mail (90% positive) so look for those soon.

I wonder if Goten or Kid Trunks will get a Legend of Saiyan release?

Anyone know how well the release has sold so far? I'd like to know how likely further releases are.

And I really can't wait for King Vegeta.

For the larger line, I'd say we'll get a Vegeta/Kid Trunks set eventually because of the "father/son" thing that Raithos mentioned.
As for the smaller figures, all six volumes were announced before any of them were released, so if there was anymore they probably would've been announced by now. However, I'm positive there will be more to go with these figures, because this line was a sequel to Freeza's Force, so there'll probably be another line after this one. I mentioned this on another thread, it would be called "Red Ribbon Revenge" or something like that and would be:
Volume 1: Android 16, 17, 18, 19 and Dr. Gero (20)
Volume 2: 1st Form cell, 2nd Form cell, Perfect cell, Buffed up Perfect cell, and Self-destruct Second form cell.
Volume 3: Android 13, 14, 15, Super Android 13, and either the Supercomputer, or Android 8.
Personally, I would prefer more saiyans. But if they were going to make a new branch, this is what I hope it will be. Of course, there are still a lot of figures that haven't been covered. In fact, they could easily squeeze three more volumes out of this line.
