Then I tell myself that's fine, I just need to chill on the purchases for a while. What do I do next? Pre-order the SSJ Legend of Saiyan DX Vegeta. I should probably start looking around for some twelve step programs.

As much as I would love to do that for you I already have too many people asking me to get figures for them!! haha As you can imagine right. Although I guess I could add in one more person. I would like a few dollars extra for my efforts as you understand! Yeah I saw today the Legend of Saiyan Vegeta Oozaru but it's not exactly what I want. I will probably end up getting him though because I am only really interested in collecting Vegeta and to a lesser extent Trunks (future Trunks in particular) figures.

I agree in terms of the Vegeta figure but the Trunks is actually really good. Perhaps my photography skills do not do them justice?

Actually that is exactly the reason they don't look as good. Due to the lack of professional lighting in my room right now and my less than awesome camera.

This is the original version of this figure.
There’s a Neo version which is more detailed and a bit better sculpted.
I plan to get both, normally I wouldn’t buy figures with the exact same pose but I’m a sucker for anything depicting Goku interacting with his family.


This is a really cool figure, I think it’s the only figure made of Vegeta just about to transform? If there's any more, let me know, I'd be interested in buying them.

I’ve always liked Megahouse figures; it’s refreshing to see them sculpt figures depicting scenes from the anime/manga instead of the typical standing with arms crossed poses other manufacturers pump out – though I do like some of them too.

I’ll take some pictures of these when they get delivered.

Those figures look pretty nice Raithos. The Ohzaru Vegeta model is exactly the same as the Creatures model, only smaller.

One question though. How tall are the smaller Legend of Saiyan series figures?

Personally I prefer the Los model
They're 10cm maximum, ranging in and between 6-10cm.

I'm also wondering will they make DX versions of every single character as seen in the small Legend of Saiyan lines? They've made all of line one, and included King Vegeta from line 2 and Bardock from line 3. But I'm unsure if this will extend to every single character since they can only stick to the "Father-Son motif" before they need to start making the more obscure characters.

It's very costly to make thirty figures with the Jaw-dropping detail of the DX figures, so I bet we'll only get main characters.

That may be, but then why would they release a King Vegeta DX? He's barely even in the story and yet he got a large scale figure, so that's where my curiosity stems from.

It's because of the name, they are called Legend of Saiyan Genealogy, and genealogy is something to do with family. So Father and Son makes sense and Vegeta is a main character, so they need his father.

Yeah, exactly. Is it just this (DX) line specifically or are the mini LoS figures slightly declining in quality also? I don't have them, but since you brought up the point, I am a little curious. I honestly am very excited about these two figures in particular, and I hope they do look better in real life.
Oh and, if this is clogging up the thread, I think it would be better to move it to Mike's toy releases thread.
