Dragonball Abridged is my preferred way of experiencing the show these days and the only way I'll watch it in English. It should be in stores.

Ahh, Piccolo. I do sure miss Piccolo in DragonBall Z Abridged at the moment :D
It surprises me that Vegeta ain't higher on the list. I always got the impression he was one of the most popular characters.
Nappa being number one ain't no surprise at all. XD

Ummm... yes it is. That's the whole point of the joke; he's below Gregory in terms of popularity. Do you just mean that in reality he's more popular than that?

Yeah, that's what he meant. As in, the list isn't the ACTUAL poll of who's most popular, it's just thrown together to make sure Vegeta's lower.

Honestly, there are some characters that are probably higher, some that are probably lower, but it would have been one hell of a hassle trying to do an actual poll. XD

Seconded on the repeated punches to the face. XD

Additional fun notables:
Vegeta falling down a flight of stairs.
The Japanese sponsor card.
Goku reading Kuririn's mind. (Oh muffin button. :3 )
Goku handling/dealing with Recoom.
The interesting point that Goku doesn't reply at all to Gohan's "I love you." but to his other statement that he's glad that Goku's here instead.
Vegeta's a friend now. XD "The best."
Also the don't swallow the bean whole or a beanstalk will grown inside you. That was cute.
The Dende-as-Batman transition card.
Vegeta being crushed by the idea that Goku is the legendary super saiyajin. XD
The build-up to Burter's quick defeat.

I've never been to a Denny's before, but now whenever I see one while driving, I'm going to end up thinking of Abridged. XD
On hiatus.

"Sir!! I am talking to my son."

God, I love that line. Great stuff from Masako this month (I keep wanting to say "this week"). Also loved the Kikuchi pieces you used.

That was pretty great.... and also summed up a lot of things I've always thought about Butta. :P

Butta's always been one of my favourite characters (as if the avatar didn't give that away), so this was awesome.
Apart from the whole dying thing, of course.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

This episode was pretty good, the pre-title scene was reassuring that it was going to be. It definitely made up for the disappointment I had with the last one.

I entirely expected Butta's death to go down like:

Knocked down.
Jheese: No, you killed Butta!
Goku: Don't worry, he's not-
Vegeta breaks neck.
Goku: -oh.

For some reason, after watching this episode, I really feel like having a Grand Slam...... I think this episode was sponsored by Denny's ;)

I quite enjoyed "Mmmm... Butter. That'll go great with my Grand Slam!"

I loved this episode so much! I can't pick a favorite part because it was all gold! From the repeated punches to the face, all the way down to the Japanese sponsor card by Julian. I died watching this episode! It's so good! Krillins was hilarious when he was explaining to Goku about the strong guys...then there were more strong guys...then they blew up our ship...then there were even more strong guys!

But I gotta say, I'm not liking the way the "Krillin Owned Count" is being handled. I don't really know what about it I don't like about it anymore. It just doesn't have the same umph that it used to have.

I kinda agree.

Didn't you decide on some time ago, that the owned count was only supposed to be used, when Krillin actually got owned in the source material?
I don't recall him getting owned by Butta and Jheese's epileptic attack in the show.
