Seriously though there's still a little luck involved in tripping over those deals you get.
I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

the true LUCK that I get is locally. There is at least 1 person, in the Omaha Metro area, that has a huge Dragonball Z collection. 2 different visits, to the same antiques store, I bought a bundle of 34 MIB DBZ toys and another 50 DBZ MIB toys, 6 months apart. I'm trying to see if I can figure out who the person is so maybe I can buy whatever he/she has. I had another opportunity, last year, to get a ENORMOUS Dragonball collection, from this older man, and it fell through. I had talked to him before he left to travel a little bit. I came back a month later to find out he had died and so, the Dragonball collection he had in his position, went to his family. He was going to give me all of it, for free  I spent hours talking with him, learning about him and how he came into possession with such a big collection and I guess his grandson had bought all the figures and just couldn't take them with him. He was moving to Paris and didn't want to lug them all with him.

Its really too bad, I was going to send figures to a handful people on the old Dragonballtoys.com site but it all fell through when the old man passed away. The 1 thing that just REALLY gets to me about that collection....he had the entire Super Battle Collection 3 times over, with the original price tags and everything attached and he had over a dozen Dragonball GT Nova Shenrons! He had hundreds upon hundreds of figures........I try not to think like that tho because I feel bad that he passed away :(

Yeah I've been looking around locally trying to find something. You'd think I'd have better luck considering the area I'm in. Though I'm really not sure that helps... there may be a lot of people in my area, but that could also mean more buyers. :?

I've been roaming, in and out, of antiques stores for over 15 years, my mom loves to shop for antiques, and I had no luck for a LONG time up til 2009, since then, I've been hitting some jackpots. Be patient, you will find something sooner or later

Nice Majin!
How much did he set you back? I'm really tempted to get one...
lol, your not gonna believe me. I got him for $28 after shipping and handling. I found him, on accident. I was surfing through EBay for some Pokemon booster boxes, I found this seller and started looking through his other listing and he had this Majin Vegeta listed under Yugioh action figure!   No joke! I asked him about it and he was kinda retarded when it came to Anime and had got this figure on accident. It had apparently been sitting in his store for over a year. I kinda wonder thou because, now, he isn't on EBay anymore, as if he was banned or shut down or something :?: :?
I don't mean this in a bad way but:

Yeah, you lucky bastard.

Yeah that's like me, I got a One piece Brotherhood DX figure for 39.99 in total. I got that for that price becuase I was watching over the Bay hardcore. The thing starts off at 75 upwards everywhere else lol, or you can get it on 3rd party sites for $55 before shipping. I agree with the Bay stalking sentiment.

Seriously, is that is luck at it's greatest. Anyway, nice find! I can't wait to find one of these guys for a good price! I honestly can't decide whether to get a Majin Vegeta or a Trunks. They both look great!
Get both, trust me.

EXCELLENT purchase I love the prince. :D. And Ichiban Kuji pieces are all excellent.
It's probably a dumb question, but I'm a n00b so bear with me. What is "Ichiban Kuji?"
It's a prize line developed by Banpresto for specific series. They produce special figures based on events that happen in the anime in and around the time those events happen or in a sequential line. They produce premium statues/figures on a specialized scale. Very top quality stuff, they also come out with cell phone straps, coffee mugs, cushions, posters, deformation figures, the whole works. I really like the Ichiban Kuji releases becuase you get some really nice rare and premium figures for a decent price when they are released and they can become extremely rare and expensive with a little time. They mainly release them for Japanese arcades so you can win them by playing games or sold in select stores or given away in lotteries/prize draws. I'm about to really attack Ichiban Kuji so look for some new updates from me soon :P, Type in ichiban kuji "_____________(anime name)" in google and browse.
Check this out for the recent Kai Kuji releases:
Lots of good links, just go to the little search bar above the SSJ Goku and Freeza picture to the right and type in "Ichiban Kuji" lots of links.
and here. I'm also really stoked to see what Bandai and Banpresto will roll out for the end of 2011.

Legendary is right, it takes persistence but stay vigilant and you'll find your deals. I mean the deal you got for those pichi pichi gals the other day was nuts!

You're assuming I got them, which I didn't... seller said they didn't have them anymore, which sucked.

Its not that disappointing though since I didn't care about them too much. The only pichi pichi I really want is the Android 18.

Well you made it sound like you had them in the bag, lol.
Yeah that's the only Pichi I have currently, she's really good though, awkward front leaning pose... but good.
You can still find that one everywhere for like $30.

Thanks again Raithos, you're always good for info. I'm glad to know a little bit more about what I just bought. I just thought he looked cool lol. I also don't remember ever seeing any other figures of a kid prince Vegeta. Not saying they don't exist, just that I haven't seen one. All of that line does seem to run pretty expensive on the second hand market. I've seen this guy hit $80+ which is nuts. When I found one at a great price I just couldn't pass it up.

Anytime, I love helping new collectors out. Yeah it's a pretty expensive line to get into, I'm not out to get em all but I'm for damn sure going to get a few of them, lol. Very few official pieces exist of Prince Vegeta, there's the Ichiban Kuji one, the Legend of Saiyan one, and then I don't know. He's a pretty rare piece to have, and if you can find him for a good price you better get it.

Thanks a bunch :) . I have no idea why I didn't spot this before , considering I've already bought something off these guys before.

Like Raithos said, there's the Legend of Saiyan figure, and there's this:

Chara Fortune Series Freeza Ver. by Megahouse. It's apparently a keychain, but all the pictures I’ve ever seen of it show no keychain parts …
I think there is also a little eraser shaped like Prince Vegeta. I'm sad there isn't any more figures of young Vegeta.

Whats the problem in putting it together? When I got my vinyls for some of them I had to squeeze the living s*** out of them before they would go into the joints, I'd squeeze the connector really hard, and then sort of wiggle it into the joint while applying enormous pressure to connect the piece. Try jamming it in hard and wiggling it in.

Banpresto's super big figure size line: It has Goku, SSJ Goku, SSJ Vegetto.
I know there are more but I'm not sure if they are with this line or separate.
