Kai Part 5 $29.98 MSRP?!?!

So Rightstuf is listing Part 5 of Kai for a release date of May 3'rd with an MSRP of $29.98 (DVD) and $34.98 (Blu-Ray).

Obviously, the actual listing price is quite a deal cheaper. I say Pre-Order this while you can incase it's a mistake.

But if it's not a mistake...Is this a sign that Kai's sales are flopping state side too?

It's an interesting sign of something, that's for sure. My initial two reactions were "It's doing that damn well they can afford it for the sake of kids who have seen the TV airings and want to own it" or "they're doing this because it'll have less content, considering Dragon Ball Kai will likely only be ninety-eight episode." It'll be interesting to see what the MSRP of the first four sets look like in the coming future.

Yes, this makes buying a series I have (for all intents and purposes) bought almost twice over, all the easier to collect.

Maybe that's what FUNimation is doing. Sales may not be up to Dragon Ball levels purely because of oversaturation. They did it to themselves, you know.

Looks more like a Yellowish-Green to me, or a Greenish-Yellow, whichever way it goes, lol.

And this is good news for my wallet, as I planned to get the series both on DVD and Blu-Ray. One to watch in my room whenever, and one to push the new TV a bit/have an excuse to make Dad watch the series with me.
