Are there any instrumentals of Bruce Faulconer anyone likes?

Anyway, I like that Super Namek song on Vol. 1 too.

I think Vol. 1 has the most songs I like, but there's a bunch more on the others too.

The Snake Way song I think it is on Vol. 4 really bugs me. I think the rodeo sound to it is just silly.

I don't care much for the Android 18 CD. Taking the continuous stream of music from one episode and turning it into a track is just a bad idea to me. It makes it inconvenient, not being able to skip to a certain part you may like. And then there's just 2 versions of a song they made just for the CD. Not to mention I don't like how they used a real girl on the cover to be Android 18. Just seems cheesy to me.

I kinda like the Trunks CD though. Speaking of which, am I the only one who is reminded of Terminator 2 whenever I hear the song "A Little Help from a Friend" on that CD?

I think it usually plays with Piccolo, but I don't remember.

Here's a glimpse of the famous "Ginyu-Transformation", the actual song is over roughly 3 minutes long with the latter 75% of it basicly mellow silence, but the first 25% is what I broke down into it's own song and uploaded, this is what could of been used for the demise of Bardock's sons:

Um, is this allowed? I dont know if EX wants us to support Faulconer, but all of his DBZ music is on CD. For you to buy no less.

Who's supporting, we're only stating what things we actually like. Me personally, I loved quite a lot from Faulconer, the Goku returning/leaving Earth in the Buu arc had me on the edge of my seat staring in awe. Ginyu Transformation, SSJ3 Ascension, Ginyu Force theme, Gohan's angry hidden powers theme, and Chibi Pan's theme as well, loved them.

Whether he likes his music or not, why would he care if WE like his music, and support it by buying the CDs? Or is that not what you meant?

I removed Ascension since that's the full intrumental, but kept "Villans End/Ginyu Trasnformation" since that's more of a sample than the actual song, remember I cut out everything after "EE EE EE EE EE EE EE", so it's just as legal as DLing a sample on Faulconer's site.

I don't know if I should be saying this either, but I have a link to where people can download I think anything before Volume 5 and 6.

Oh yeah, another of my Faulconer favorites is the music when Goku's forming the Spirit Bomb to fire on Freeza. I also really like his recap music.
Speaking of which, I have all 6 "Best of DBZ" CDs now, and none of them contain this recap music. Is it on the Trunks Compendium, or the Majin Boo Sagas CD?

That Spirit Bomb music is definitely one of the first songs I grew a liking to.

As for the recap music, yes, it's on the Trunks Compendium. It's called "The Saga Continues", I believe.

It's also in the Trunks Compendium as the two part DBZ Episode 122 (At least I think it's 122), playing at the beginning at the end

I like the song they play when Gohan is standing in all his grace as a super saiyan 2 with all the smoke clearing revealing his upper-body. It's the music played when Gohan is finished powering up, not after the one where he just screams and then he's already in his SSJ2 form.

I have to say, Faulconer's music is the best there is; nothing else comes close to expressing the emotion of the scene. The Namek saga is the best, especially during the destruction of Namek. Oh yeah, the music used in FUNimation's "The History Of Trunks" at the end was even better (by Dream Theater I think), and when Gohan was crawling towards Trunks with only one arm.

Faulconer's best? It's got to be Piccolo's theme; it gives the impression that he's the "wise father", looking down on the guys as if to protect them (entitled "A Little Help From A Friend", Trunks Compendium 1). Yup, I've always perceived Piccolo as being a fatherly figure. The second has got to be... Damn, I like all of them.

I like the music of Faulconer during Vegeta being killed by Freeza. Then he is pleading to Goku. Since there's nu BGM used in the Japanese version I couldn't really get involved in the scene. And since I first watched Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network that was the fitst version I saw. So when I saw the Japanese Episode I was kinda dissapointed.

It's funny you say that because there's people that say quite the opposite.

Like others, I did get into Dragon Ball Z because of the dub, so they were
some of Faulconer's music that did stay in my memories. Particularly, this Imperfect Cell theme that had this heavy guitar riff playing the backround.
It did convey Imperfect Cell as being quite vicious & well scavenger like, which was cool, but kinda weird at the same time.

'Mysterious Person' This is the music used when the Goku shakes Supreme Kai's hand for the first time.

Super Namek.

Ox King Consoles sounds pretty cool.

These are just the main ones that pop into my head right off the top. I'll add more later. =]
