I definitely like Greg's version the best now, he hits quite a few notes just the way I like them. It's not perfect, but it's the best dub of the song we've had so far, to me at least.

I'm really glad they got Greg to sing it.
Fun fact guys. He worked on an album with fellow voice actors in a band called "Voices For".

I actually like Greg's take on Dragon Soul. Its now probably my second favorite singer behind Vic. Thanks for the preview of the upcoming DVD Gozar.

No problem guys. I'm wondering if maybe Eric Vale might sing it on Part 5. I'm not sure if he can sing. But...well...Justin Cook can't and he got to do one =P

Yeah... I wonder why Justin could do one. Sean can genuinely sing without the help out autotune and Justin can't... but his had like none so it seems on it. I like Greg's version cause it's a lot more classical and he's genuinely singing and he's a singer to begin with.

I honestly can't remember if Vale can sing or not, but surely he sang at some point in Beck, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Oddly enough, Justin sang in Beck too, and it was a hell of a lot better than his Dragon Soul.

So I can't help but think he either just phoned in his Dragon Soul, or he can only sing like he did in Beck and not in the style needed for Soul.

Is it just me or does Greg sound a bit like MasakoX?
Anyway, I still think Vic does the best "Dragon Soul', but Sean and Greg aren't far behind. Although his delivery is off and sounds abit like Justin Cook's in a few parts of the song, he sounds really good and smooth during the 'We can find paradise' parts and the 'Ride Upon the Wind' part.
By the way Gozar, is the 'Are you talking about Kuririn?!' scene still "You'll pay for that!"?

Greg sounds bad at certain parts, however I'm feeling generous, so I'd give the overall performance an average rating.

I don't know why that would stop him, considering they allowed Cook and Schemmel to record versions. If they're going to do (un)intentionally bad recordings they might as well let the performers mess around with it.
Heck, look what they did to the Ginyû insert song. Sabat certainly wasn't the right voice type there.
