I'm sorry Dominator... but what do you mean? That we get to see uncut Dragonball Z with 9 swears so far and finally getting beyond the DVDs for the first time since some god for saken early Buu saga episode? Honestly.. I don't know what you mean.

Yes! Another curse was said tonight. It was by Zarbon, and it was another "damn".

EDIT: Well, I guess I replied too soon, because Kuririn just said "dammit." I find it funny that just right after he said that, Vegeta said, "Well, the surprises just don't stop, do they?"

Is it just me, or is anyone else missing Zarbon's Aussie accent? Also when Gohan comes across the village and buries everyone was pretty dramatic stuff in my view.

I miss it as well, the Ocean VA for Zarbon owned, now he sounds like a britishly toned down Mr. Popo.

Zarbon's death certainly wasn't pretty.

Yea, that shit had me mad hype. I'm really looking foreward to the Gynu Force. Expect some swears there and is it just me or did everybody notice how much the dialogue improved. It actually makes you respect the show.

EDIT: "Where is that damn ball?"

-Vegeta

I was hoping Sabat could pull of the scream like Drummond. One of the very few things from the old dub that we liked.

I find it sad to see these episodes of such high dub dialogue and musical quality and then to have to watch the rest of the series in it's mediocrity. I actually wish they would re-dub the whole serious now like this but it's not happening. Does anyone know how long the series is going to play on CN? Is it going to stop after the Ultimate Uncuts are done their run?

Damn, you got to it before I did. Damn computer was being slow.. Oh well, I'm getting off topic. Well, I wonder what they'll do after they've aired all these uncut episodes. It'd be awesome if they aired all of the uncuts, even the old ones.

Holy crap! The way Frieza disposed of that guy Nimmol was just cold-hearted. I remember the old version he was asking whether the Ginyu Force was overkill and Frieza fried him for sounding like he was going against his order. This time his frying him for not being needed just seemed more cold blooded.

Anyone have a clip of Sabat trying to sound as awesome as Brian Drummond in the "You won't escape my wrath" scene?
Where's the beef?

I recently heard his new voice actor in a Budokai Tenkaichi preview, I think because of his appearence they're trying to make him a bit more "camp", when really he was quite a badass character.

Well Christopher Sabat pulled off the 'you won't escape my wrath' scene pretty well. The dialogue was more sinister, but his voice didn't have nearly as much force as Brian Drummond's. This is one of those few scenes where I'd prefer the old dub. (Hmm, maybe someone should do a new vs old dub comparison).

Is there somewhere I can find an audio clip of Brian Drummond's Vegeta? I haven't seen the original dub in so long I've forgotten what he sounds like in comparision.
On hiatus.

I think I have a video clip of that scene but I'd need a place to host the file.

From Toonami Digital Arsenal, which includes the "YOU WON'T ESCAPE MY WRATH!" line. Copy and paste in the address bar:

That was the intro they played on Toonami back when I started watching DBZ. Good times.

Here's a link to the clip of the whole scene though:

Thanks for the link anyway Conan but at least this way anyone can view it.

The music is really good. I never thought I'd say it, but I think I link the music just as much and in some cases (dramatic scenes, notably) better than the original Japanese score.
