Although I don't agree with using terms like "silly ass" and such derogatory expressions, I agree with this. Ki attacks are not static and don't have specific multipliers. There is nothing in the series that suggests that at all.Senzu_Bean wrote:What?! There isn't any multiplier or addition or whatever you're pulling from your silly ass. Ki attacks are the users' ki. You can't somewhat calculate them just like you can't calculate how strong someone is.

Yea this guy Sensu is highly offensive, surprised he hasn't gotten banned yet with his attitude. You may not like power debates, or numerical representations of them, but there's no excuse to be offensive. Hopefully the mods will get this guy in order. If you do not like my posts, or the way the thread is going, you should not post until you are in a better frame of mind..

No offense, but in many situations before you didn't act much differentp123 wrote:Yea this guy Sensu is highly offensive, surprised he hasn't gotten banned yet with his attitude.
Actually you are also exactly following the rules, since it explicitly says to not speak in "equations"p123 wrote:You may not like power debates, or numerical representations of them, but there's no excuse to be offensive. Hopefully the mods will get this guy in order.
Actually nobody like when you post stuff like that. It's not like I or other members never posted a numerical comparison beetween two characters, but you abuse of it making 3/4 of your messages nothing more than fan-made battle powers lists of sort...p123 wrote:If you do not like my posts, or the way the thread is going, you should not post until you are in a better frame of mind..
Re: What did Piccolo mean?
I generally only keep the numerical stuff in the battle power thread. But I do use equations. So, I don't know.
So do you think Piccolo meant amplified attacks are viewed as an addition or no?

I don't see what's so wrong with equations, granted that they aren't the only substance in a post, for the purpose of easily communicating how much stronger in relation to other characters, a character is. Now when it's some huge ass thing that has >>, >=, other shit, and a bunch of characters added that're irrelevant, I concede that it can be cumbersome.
...whining about the anime because it doesn't follow my "manga volumes agenda."

Maybe because it seems like we over analyse certain aspects that more than obvioulsy the author himslef never botherd withbeast mode wrote:I don't see what's so wrong with equations, granted that they aren't the only substance in a post, for the purpose of easily communicating how much stronger in relation to other characters, a character is. AT stopped using nummerical references to power probably to avoid head aches.
More often than not there is no logical mechanism behind power boost, how and why they work.

While I will admit that there were more polite ways for him to say what he did, you might want to look at the forum rules before you go about demanding people get banned. You have to look at them every time you log into the forum, but just in case you never actually read them...p123 wrote:Yea this guy Sensu is highly offensive, surprised he hasn't gotten banned yet with his attitude. Now that section I placed in bold font looks awfully familiar.Rule #4 wrote:We ask that our new members recognize that this is not your typical DragonBall message board. Many of the standard conversation-types and quirks used on other forums are either completely foreign to members here, or highly frowned upon. Please do not speak in "equations" for comparing character strengths, for example (SSJ2 Goku post-Senzu > Bootenks 2.5); this not only looks ridiculous, but does little to add to a genuine conversation.

So in conclusion we can tell that...

>= ( Rivals )
