Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
If the translators aren't going to get the pages in advance won't that affect the release schedule?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That was not cool.Gogeta wrote:I am a translator of DBM. With that, they put me as an admin on the site (probably because i am the first to translate from my language)Mandom wrote:Yes. <emoticon>
How come you got those pages ? <emoticon>
(<emoticon>) so i got access to all of the files there (which are uploaded). I even got the psd. files of the banners <emoticon>
Here they are <emoticon>
I mean, he is not a guy in Salagir MSN list whom he showed the pictures. He was supposed to be one of the translators
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It might, but we'll try to cope. At least from the Portuguese translations we should be alright, some others might struggle, but this undoubtedly makes our job a little harder, we'll all have to constantly be on top of the released pages to try and not have late translations.TonyTheTiger wrote:If the translators aren't going to get the pages in advance won't that affect the release schedule?
Normally we have like 3 or 4 pages in advance, sometimes more, sometimes less, but we're normally ahead of schedule.
Now... well... I just don't know how it's gonna fly. Not counting tomorrows page, we've got 3 in advance, after that I'm not sure how it's gonna work from now on. I guess we might get like, one day advance, or maybe hours, I just don't know.

Well, I'm not going check out these advance pages... opening a new page on their release is half the fun!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
You wouldn't be able too anyway. If you're referring to the pages that were revealed, they were related to the Buu vs what's-his-face. So it's been quite a while, either I've only noticed the message now or they only noticed the pages now, revealed ahead of schedule of course. The second one is the most probable, if I hadn't noticed, rereboy would.Kingdom Heartless wrote:Well, I'm not going check out these advance pages... opening a new page on their release is half the fun!

Which is a problem because that means less time to not only do the work but refine it. Fact is, one thing DBM has struggled with, particularly in the early chapters, is wonky grammar. I certainly hope this won't hurt the final product in the long run.DNA wrote:It might, but we'll try to cope. Like I said, it might hurt in some translations, probably English as well because Salagir does those himself, and then their refined. The Portuguese ones might be fine, me and rereboy do a top-notch job as well. I've been told Guga is good too, but I can't speak personally about him.TonyTheTiger wrote:Which is a problem because that means less time to not only do the work but refine it. But yeah, it won't hurt the releases, the pages will still be released, the translations might be late in some languages and most likely the corrections will be late.

Goku vs. Son Wukong would be awesome too. But he is too strong, I guess. We'll have to see whether Sun Wukong's got what it takes to defeat Tenshinhan.

Wokka wokka wokka~
So far it looks like I was right about Wukong being majorly outclassed.

I don't get Vegeta's last line.
"And if it was a real planet, that wouldn't be impressive"
Why wouldn't it be? He would in that case have precisely cut a triangular shape out of a solid planet.
"Even for tall bald guy"
What? Is "tall bald guy" Vegeta's nickname for Tenshinhan?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It wouldn't be impressive because even the Tenshinhan that (U18) Vegeta knows (the tall bald guy) is supposed to have a power level capable of destroying planets with relative ease (considering that 18.000 is a power level strong enough to destroy the Earth and that Tenshinhan, by the Buu saga, is much stronger than that).Godo wrote:I don't get Vegeta's last line.

If this Tenshinhan wasn't at least as powerful as U18 Tenshinhan, it would actually be a disappointment... So, U9 Tenshinhan doing something that U18 Tenshinhan would be able to do, isn't impressive at all, in U18 Vegeta's opinion. He expects no less.
And about the fact that the translators won't be able to see new pages before their release:
F***.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I really like this page. Tenshinhan don't mess about and wow at instant Kikoho and such precision cutting
This is why I like Tenshinhan.

Are Wukong's eyes popping out of his head? And what happened to those two feather antennae things?
