A History of Trunks What-If
A History of Trunks What-If
During The History of Trunks, what if Androids 14 and 15 had been the ones terrorizing Earth instead of 17 and 18? Would Trunks and Future Gohan had been powerful enough to destroy those clowns (Android 13 isn't in this scenario)?

I would just assume these androids would be killed on the day they began their attack...
I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

I'd say easily... considering they were basically just slightly stronger than the base Saiyans, they wouldn't stand a chance. Vegeta and Piccolo should be able to take them out on their own.

Re: A History of Trunks What-If
I'd say they probably would of been taken down during the initial battle. Despite the movie showcasing the obvious "nerf" of Super Saiyan power, they only appeared to be a bit stronger than base Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks. If you were to replace #17 and #18 with these two, I wouldn't have any doubt in my mind that the collaborative efforts of the Z Fighters, not to mention Super Saiyan Vegeta, would be enough to overcome them.
Now lets say #14 and #15 take down the Z Fighters somehow, I'd be pretty confident in saying that Future Gohan would eventually be able to take em' out. From what we saw in The History of Trunks, he appeared to be stronger than 17 and 18 individually (not in the manga), and only failed because he had a handicap and was ganged up on. Due to this, I'd say Super Saiyan Future Gohan would of been able to take down #14 and #15, especially with Trunks' help.

Well, in the TV special, Future Gohan appeared stronger than Androids #17 and #18 individually, while, assuming that Movie #7's set in the Androids arc, Androids #14 and #15 appeared to have trouble with them in both base and Super Saiyan. We can't assume that the Androids were holding back, since they were programmed to kill Goku and were focused on their mission, unlike the playful #17 and #18. So you'd probably have to compromise and put them in the middle (Credit to Kaboom for this little insight on #14 and #15's powers)Nippolyte wrote:During The History of Trunks, what if Androids 14 and 15 had been the ones terrorizing Earth instead of 17 and 18? So I suppose Future Gohan would be able to defeat them. Perhaps even Vegeta and Piccolo could take them out.

#14 and #15 where very strong at all, the chances are that they would have been killed. Cell would end up finding #17 and #18 becoming Perfect, and destroying the Earth afterwards.
