Game loading mini-games

Post by DNA » Mon Mar 07, 2011 10:29 pm

I've done one of these before but I need to ask again. What are the various loading mini-games across the games?
I know these more or less:

Budokai 2 - Mutenroshi ridding Baby Gamera
Budokai 3 - Saibaiman growing
Sparking! - Gotenks spitting Super Ghost Kamikaze
Sparking! NEO - Yamcha using Sokidan
Sparking! METEOR - Vegeta doing push ups, Gohan pulling Z-Sword, Goku eating
Infinite World - Goku climbing Karin Tower

I'm only interested in the ones that are actually related to Dragon Ball, I've seen the Burst Limit one and I've got Raging Blast and those in my opinion are just stupid and no fun at all.

Wasn't the one from Sparking! Neo based on Yamcha controlling Sokidan (or whatever that was called)?
Sorry, I can't speak English very well, but I'm trying my best.

Yes! I keep getting confused, I think Gotenks was actually from the first sparking. Any more games with cool loadings?

In Shin Budokai: Another Road, you can throw around a Kame-Sign.
Also known as "GeniDude" and "NerdyNorwegian"!

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team has you play as Gohan running back and forth collecting berries as they fall to the ground. He’s dressed as he was during the training with Piccolo.

In the first Budokai game you could rotate the waves on the dragon radar with one of the control sticks... Not exactly a game, but it's a bit of interactivity on the loading screen like all the other ones.

In Budokai 3, red Saibaimen sometimes pop up if you grow enough green ones.

Yeah, that's in both Shin Budokai games, and I think you use the shoulder pad buttons or the analog stick to do it. If you knock around the Kame symbol enough times, it turns into a Kaio symbol. I can't remember if it then turns into a Go symbol if you knock it around enough times.

In Raging Blast, you control Kinto'un to collect capsules (the in-game currency).

In Raging Blast 2, you simply press random button combinations (clearly not as innovative).
