I had to ask the seller who is shipping my LoS Dx Trunks and Vegeta if he could flatten and fold the boxes on them. I have seen pics of other LoS DX boxes, and they are huge! I'm definitely sure I'll get stung on customs with them! I don't really want creased boxes, but I guess it'll have to do. Plus, the figures should be fine.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Congrats SSJSteve! Okay, now I'm just waiting for my stroke of luck. Over the last couple of months, I've seen people on this site and Mike's site getting really lucky with things, like amazing deals and finds. I'm hoping I get a hint of that!

Ebay: where dreams come true. *.*SSJSteve wrote:I paid, for the Dragon Ball Dragon Box...£52!
I couldn't believe how lucky I was when I saw it listed on eBay. The guy who was selling it was selling the GT Box for the same price, but I completely forgot about it.
Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Holy crap! Congratulations, man!! I wish I would've known about the GT box! It's the only one I'm missing!

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
SSJSteve, that's some impressive scoping.
@Jordanator, the Los boxes are retarded, I don't know why they're so big. Small HQDX sized boxes could easily house the figures, and be less costly?
Just got Imagination 6 yesterday. I've wanted this set for a long time, and I'm glad I finally got it. I actually can't be bothered to unpack it right now due to storage space, so I think I'll leave it wrapped up. Still overly pleased to have received it.

Ha, thanks all!
I was originally planning on selling it (if the price was right), but I don't think anyone would buy it now!
So, I'm going to keep it, it will be the diamond of my collection.
Remember... check eBay everyday for Dragon Ball bargains!

You know Funimation's Coola Double-Feature DVD, the one that seems to be out of print and normally goes for $70 to $100 online?
I stopped in a closing Blockbuster a block away from campus today while I was waiting for a haircut. They had two copies, new and sealed, for $8. I grabbed one right the fuck up since I didn't have it, and thought about buying the other just to sell it on eBay, but decided it wasn't worth the time and hassle just for a $50-$60 profit.

I can't even count the number of things I've got cheap, just because people don't know what the hell their selling is really worth.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Managed to snatch up the region 4 release of DBZ Kai Part 3 from Madman today for only $56NZD! Compared to what I paid for the previous Kai releases, that's a steal! I paid:
$66 for Part 1 (DVD)
$60 for Part 2 (Blu-Ray)
$56 for Part 3 (Blu-Ray)- The DVD was only $51!
Something interesting I noticed while watching the first disc was the picture began to a look a lot better during the second half of episode 34.

I'm glad I don't live in NZ! I paid £18 for each Kai relase on Blu Ray.

No offense Raithos, but perhaps the fact that you don't have any room for the figures should be a sign that you should slow down a bit on the purchases?Raithos wrote: Just got Imagination 6 yesterday. you run out of space, make more space. If you can't, then start an inventory list of what you have and what you don't have, then just start boxing some away so you can make room for more.CODii wrote:No offense Raithos, but perhaps the fact that you don't have any room for the figures should be a sign that you should slow down a bit on the purchases?Raithos wrote: Just got Imagination 6 yesterday. That's still like 40~50 dollars a set. IMO that's a lot.DragonBoxZTheMovies wrote:Managed to snatch up the region 4 release of DBZ Kai Part 3 from Madman today for only $56NZD! Compared to what I paid for the previous Kai releases, that's a steal! I paid:

Anyways, nothing much this week. Got the LoS Gohan last week and liked it, so I obviously needed to get the Goku.

I also have the Trunks and Vegeta coming in from Angolz sometime in the next couple weeks. I'm on the fence right now on whether or not to pick up Vol. 4 and 5 of the smaller LoS figures.
Oh and this.

I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

No no I have space for it, I just don't want to display it. So I'm putting it in storage, lol.TheLegendary117 wrote:you run out of space, make more space. I should have specified, display space***. I plan to display everything in its entirety when I move out in like a year, but for now it'll be more conservative to keep it stored. And I can have fun coming back to it opening it up for the first time and building the figures
NO NO NO! Just buy it trust me. When your on the fence, just get it. You'll kick yourself so hard down the road for not getting it, lol.Chibi Gohan wrote: I also have the Trunks and Vegeta coming in from Angolz sometime in the next couple weeks. Good buy on the Goku/Gohan and Trunks/Vegeta LoS along with the Jump Special also.
