Actually I never thought of something like that, nor I blame Japanese for invading China. What they did in Nanking or Shanghai is on way different level then Pearl Harbor + that Japan will never say sorry or take full reponsibility to at least state it officially what they've done in fullscale. What the US army does in wars is also different thing (When they started war in Vietnam by fake incident for example which lead to some of greatest war massacres).
And to be politically correct, what our country did to Germans after war, when they gathered men and children in warehouses and comunist militia shot them one after one is also not by the book.
In general, war is not okay and everybody did horrible things and we should let the things of past flow away and learn for them.
We are in 21st century for god's sake
This is a very good point. And we should leave it at that.

We don't need to give those hateful jackasses anymore attention, so let's not derail the thread any further with talk about it. We should keep things strictly about news related to the disaster.

Also, less memes, please.

You know, it makes no sense for these people to even be angry. From the looks of it none of them were even born when that event occurred. It seems like people hate things just to be "edgy" sometimes and use any excuse to do it. They're idiots who obviously don't know a thing about being a real human being. America, Japan, Germany, whatever...at the end of the day we are ALL part of the human race and if we don't stop hating each other over things in the past we won't have much of a future to look forward to.

I truly hope things settle down over there soon, it's awful just to think about it so I can only imagine what those poor people must be going through.

Well now its looks like they are having trouble with a third nuclear reactor. It just keeps going down the drain. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/ ... 2D20110312

Maybe later I'll check my PBS sub-channel, which is some sort of international programming channel, and it airs NHK World.

Also, Ryo Horikawa is fine. Updated his Twitter yesterday.

AHHH it's stuff like this that makes me hate to be an American!! :x
I think Japan already payed any kind of dues they had for pearl harbor when we freaking bombed them. Seriously, WWII is long over, they are already forgiven for what they did (apparently it's a theoretical forgiveness) >:(

Yeah, I missed that too actually. It is best not to give them attention, it's probably all they're after.

For his birthday, he had a Reinhard von Lohengramm (a character he played in LoGH) cake!

That just pisses me off. I know that Pearl Harbor was a horrible event. My own grandfather fought in the Pacific Theater. ?
I know Peral Harbor was awful as well and I had family members who died in it as well, but people really still serious about it? And still using it as a pay pack makes me piss off. I can understand if it was 9/11 since it happen 10 years ago and people are still effected by it but Pearl Harbor?
