Well, I don't belong to any LoGH or Gundam boards, but I like those better than DB.

DB just naturally lends itself to casual conversations/arguments/shitstorms. Probably because there are more than six people talking about it, unlike LoGH.

Actually, I used to think it was "American Naruto", so I guess I can't criticize initial reactions. :lol:
Interestingly enough, one of the very minor characters from Avatar's first season's va is now va of one of the major characters on Naruto.

That "stick" ain't even unique to Goku (it's pulled straight from Journey to the West), and Kuririn definitely wasn't the first bald monk.
