Anti-Monitor isn't even close to being the strongest being in the DCU.

the DC characters' powers, especially Superman's, fluctuate depending on who is writing the comic at the time.

If we're talking about Superboy Prime? He'd fuck Son up 300 different ways before breakfast.
I'm surprised it took 15 posts for someone to bring up Superboy Prime; he's basically the one recurring character nearly every DB crossover discussion I've ever seen.
He's both A: Easily More Powerful than Son Goku, even in his SS4 form
and B: Evil, so there's logical reason to fight him, and it would be good for the Heroes, including Son, to win.

You pit Son Vs. normal Superman in a story actually written with the consent of DC Comics, then neither person would win. They'd fight long enough to get a cool fight out of it, but before anyone got a chance to win, they'd have some other major catastrophe happen that the heroes have to team up to stop. Because neither party wants their character to look weaker.

That's why Freddy Vs. Jason ends with Jason cutting off Freddy's head, but it looks at the viewer, smiling and winking. Nobody won. It LOOKED like Jason won, but then, oh hoho, Freddy's smiling, it's not over!

You don't wana piss off either side's fans.

Ah, only read 2 things with him in, Sinestro Crps War and Blackest Night but I've seen people on /co/ or other sites call him the strongest being.

If you wanted to get technical, you'd call the Presence, aka God, at the top, then Lucifer and Michael, the Specter at full potential, the Endless, then you get that powered up Anti-Monitor in CoIE (He was certainly weaker in SCW, as Prime wouldn't have scratched him if he was at full power).

And yeah, even if it's for a fun spar, I'd love to see Superman vs Goku. Then, of course, have them team up to take an enemy out.

I guess it'd be cool to see. Heck, God knows how much the Superman books need some shaking up lately.

Y'got got Luthor taking the spotlight in Action Comics, then Superman himself going from town-to-town via his other title in an attempt to "get in touch" with humanity again in this "Grounded" arc happening at the moment.

If the characters from the MK universe were able to merge with DC's elite back in '08, then the same can be done for Goku and co.

Hey! Interestingly, there's this topic over here thinking from my head now and then since. Toei/FUNimation and Warner/DC along with Namco Bandai should make a game called Dragon Ball vs. DC Universe: Two Worlds Collide and they might have DB/Z/GT characters faceoff against DC Heroes/Villains.

Goku vs. Superman
Vegeta vs. Batman
Gohan vs. Wonder Woman
Piccolo vs. Green Lantern
Trunks vs. Flash
Burta vs. Zoom
Freeza vs. Lex Luthor
Cell vs. Joker
Broli vs. Kryptonite
Bebi vs. Owlman

IMO, like RB2 who has the PTETSS remake, they should release that game along with the 120-min movie.

A video game crossover would be sweet and they have Dimps make it. I would love to see the DCAU voice cast for the game since I rather have Kevin Conroy as Batman then Diedrich Bader as Batman. If a video game was made then they will likely use the DBKai voice cast and the voice cast from the recent DC animated movies like "All Star Superman".

I think Kevin Conroy would be more likely to voice Batman in the game then Diedrich Bader who voiced him in the Brave and Bold series. As for Mark Hamill as the Joker he said he's retiring from the role after Arkham City. Also I would rather see Vegeta vs. Black Adam or Vegeta vs. Zod. Piccolo vs Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz).

DCAU and FUNimation's could be easy... They can have some GT Cast joining up with the Kai cast.

Yeah but most video games now these days like to use newer cast in recent TV shows. In MVC3, Josh Keaton does the voice for Spider-Man instend of Neil Patrick Harris or Christopher Daniel Barnes.

I think the story could be something simple like Lex and Doctor Gero team up. But I hope for something original for the story and The Anti-Monitor won't be a bad idea for a boss if they don't make him into a rip off of the Galactus boss battle from MVC3.

If this crossover were to hypothetically happen, I'd much prefer the voice cast from the Justice League Unlimited series, as opposed to anyone else. I say this 'cause, even though the latest DCU animated feature was... decently brought to life, there was a bit of a stiffness and lack of emotion from the recent guy to voice supes. The last thing anybody would want is our favorite heroes sounding like duds.

Luthor teaming up with Gero wouldn't be such a far-fetched idea, either. I mean, that's the general consensus with Wesker and Dr. Doom over in MVC3.

Oh, and that last battle with Galactus? It's ridiculous...

That's because he wasn't just your average, everyday Superman. He was a serene, poised All-Star Superman, and sounded entirely appropriate for the story.

One thing about a crossover game would be how the gameplay would work? Would it be like MVC 1-3 or like the Budokai games. Not to mention characters like Batman would have not way on hitting Goku since he can just fly up in the air, unless they give him jet packs.

A VS game would require Capcom as the dev, and we cannot assume that Capcom would do it just because they've worked with Marvel- although I would totally approve of Dragonball vs DC. But more importantly, so long as it's not in vein of Sparking, which it won't be, Batman could simply jump as well as the rest of them.

my 2 cents on this... Maybe the guys can handle it would be from the devs in MKvDC or the WWE SVR series.
