Very important Budokai 3 PAL news

Title got your attention? Good.

For those of you who haven't got Budokai 3 yet, the Japanese-spoken PAL version has become a Sony Platinum title meaning it became ubercheap to pick up. I've already seen it in stores here in the Netherlands for 30 Euros so I guess it's the same in the rest of Europe. Thought I'd mention it.

I guess they are fully forgetting about the original version and just releasing the "Collector's Edition" as the Platinum version of the game... My cousin will be pleased to hear this...

Thing is, the collector's edition was about 60 Euros when it came out about 2 months ago, so if you've bought it, you're pretty muched screwed by Atari.

I had heard that DBZB3 was going to be released as a Platinum title. However because I only saw "DragonBall Z Budokai 3" in the title I was expecting it to be the "original version".

Although I have little interest in getting the Collector's Edition at this moment (more interested in Sparking), now that it's going to be released as a Platinum means I may end up getting a copy at some point in the future.

Like me, I just bought it a couple of weeks ago.
Oh well, at least I have the original box now, and not the Platinum. :)

I've bought it and man this game is good. The specials are amazing with the Japanese voices and sound better, same goes for the transformations. I don't have to get annoyed by Gotenks'"The mackdaddy of justice" line anymore. :P

What sucks though is that the 4 "new" characters can only be unlocked when you've completed the DU and have access to the DA. It's nice how the manual refers to Goku with a halo as Angel Warrior Goku. The other new characters are of course Trunks with long hair and Daimao (Goku's Dragonfist would rule) but it's too bad we didn't got Bulma or Frieza in his chair.

Only bad thing is that we still have censored text, the same text as the original release which doesn't always sync with what is said in Japanese. And of course we still have the name H ercule unless you change it to a language besides English.
