Have we seen this before? It's news to me. It reminds me strongly of Budokai...

I think it just uses the same battle engine. Rather than have lots of players and modes, it appears to be pure Street Fighter I dogma with budokai graphics+characters. To make up for this, the few characters present are hyper-customizable with the "IC card". Hope it gets released near me.

It does still say "There are many more Z fighters!" though.
...Not that they're present in the screenshots  ...

It looks pretty fun. The environment interaction (it boasts you can use things for cover, stand on the buildings, run on the walls...) is a nice idea.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I'm sure we discussed this arcade game earlier, but of course, at earlier stages in its development. :P

An "Initial D-esque" card saving system! Way to go! This is gonna be a great arcade game!

And I thought this was going to be about that really old 16-BIT one! Nice find anyway.

Is it me or is the English a little poor?

Woah, jump?! The last Japanese-created DBZ fighting game that featured a jump was Final Bout. Unfortunately I think this won't be released in England, though I can wait and see.

Or I could just buy the arcade console.

The Engrish is the best part! Look at how they add "Super Z" in front of every feature! This game may even appeal to "Dragonball Fans"! But seriously, is this flyer actually out there, or is it just a fan translation? It says that it is a TAFA original, but does that mean the entire flyer is original?

Hmm, well, the region on that does say EU....

I think it's completely authentic as is. The Engrish makes me think it was made in Japan for European release. The 'EU' region on that page also makes me think this will be getting a European arcade release...

Here's to hoping it gets an American release or a console port!

There have been screenshots of this game before, but some of the pictures are new.
Some new information too.
