Yes, but there are some times where he made horrible choices as well. I'm waiting for Kai to air on Toonzai, I would like to see more of his choices from Kikuchi's score.JulieYBM wrote:Wow, Nagasaki picked good pieces this time!

The piece he chose for that particular scene wasn't that bad, actually.

Re: Toei Officially Acknowledges Yamamoto's Kai Rip-Offs
I love how the person who uploaded the video is blaming toonzai for the music replacement haha. But yeah I kinds like the choice they used for that scene. As long as the pieces they use for the future episodes arent stupid choices that are out of place, I think it will be alright, I still liked the other score a lot better though.GotenDaisuki wrote:The piece he chose for that particular scene wasn't that bad, actually.

May I remind you of Gohan's SSJ2 transformation? That was a horrible decision.cloud1414 wrote:As long as the pieces they use for the future episodes arent stupid choices that are out of place...

I usually don't get up this early, but I was watching a cartoon station. And they had Kai playing in English. And I just noticed the Japanese Background music at the end. With Vegeta and the Dragonballs and Shenron was summoned.

Heh, I think those pieces fit pretty decently, but it's a bit surreal hearing Boo-arc music in the Namek-arc.JulieYBM wrote:Here's a scene from the Toonzai airing.

It seems somes peices are different in Kai than in the orginal z series.

This is the first time that Kikuchi's Z score plays on American TV, right?JulieYBM wrote:Here's a scene from the Toonzai airing.

It's the first time it's played over Z-era television footage. Aside from being used for the entirety of Dragon Ball, it was also used for the first two Z movies.

Movies #1 and #2 used the Kikuchi score in the 1990s.kei17 wrote:This is the first time that Kikuchi's Z score plays on American TV, right?JulieYBM wrote:Here's a scene from the Toonzai airing.
Oh man, they're using the baby Gohan music when Gohan realizes Gokû's back in his right body.

Re: Toei Officially Acknowledges Yamamoto's Kai Rip-Offs
Considering it's being used in the Toonzai airings now, and on NickToons' site they haven't been uploading the episodes early like they were, I'm wondering if we might the Kikuchi score in the NickToon's airings, possibly with next week's episodes.
I checked my cable guide, and saw that NickToons is seemingly doing another marathon of Kai on Sunday. I'm wondering if the reruns will still be Yamamoto?

Re: Toei Officially Acknowledges Yamamoto's Kai Rip-Offs
It seems that Dragon Ball Z Kai hasn't been airing in Korea the past couple of weeks, meaning that they are probablly changing the score right now for all of their espidoes.
This probably explains why the nicktoons airings of DBZ Kai in America have been screwed up the past couple of weeks also.
This development also make me wonder what will happen to about the Latin American and Brazilian dubbed epsiodes that are set to premiere in two weeks.

Now I know that local stores are recalling parts 1-4 with the infringed score, whats going to happen with amazon and rightstuf? Will toei and funi make them cease selling the versions with the infringed score? I know they really cant do anything about people on ebay but was just wondering.

On eBay, people are still selling the infringed sets, though.

Ah man this is great for people that hate Kai's bgm. But it sucks for people that love it. Maybe I will give Kai a second chance with much better music I prefer.GotenDaisuki wrote:Most likely.cloud1414 wrote:Now I know that local stores are recalling parts 1-4 with the infringed score, whats going to happen with amazon and rightstuf? It was Kai censorship and the music that made me dislike caring to watch it. Which leads me to wonder, how much censorship they are going to have with Gohan's arm. How much blood will they censor?
