Theories on why Androids not as evil?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Also since a pattern (at least to me) seems to be that the more power an opponent has, the more likely they are to give into their blood lust or murderous intent (even SSJ Goku and SSJ2 Gohan showed signs of this), maybe that factored into how the androids of each time reacted.
I disagree somewhat. I think a sudden transformation giving one excessive power that they themselves can't comprehend fully can cause this, like what happened when Goku turned SSJ against Freeza and Gohan SSJ2 against Cell.

Now,think about this, Vegeta was the strongest man on earth after he defeated Number 19. Before going to search for Gero, he was pretty pissed off and could have easily killed Piccolo or Tien because he never liked them at all to begin with. I'm guessing he had kind of a soft corner for Kurririn and Gohan because of their struggle on Namek so he may have spared them. My point being, if absolute power corrupts always like you mentioned, he would have just destroyed everyone or at least a few of them once he attained SSJ because that's what he wanted all his life! Another example of this is when Goku went SSJ3 and Vegetto. We never saw any lust for blood in them.

Getting back to the topic, I feel the Artificial Humans were indeed slightly different. They killed all the Z fighters in the past time line, but refused to even fight Piccolo in the present. Also, look at their eyes. Toriyama made their eyes look so evil in the Trunks manga, but not in the present time line.

However, I also agree with what some are saying here. If the present Artificial Humans got bored for 20 years, I'm sure they too would have gone on a rampage. This however doesn't mean that they weren't different. They still were different for not killing people the moment they were free unlike their past counterparts.

Edit:
Here's the original topic on this matter.
