EDIT: I mean that the Japanese version of Sparking! uses the original BGM from the anime.
I understand that, but then, how come the FUNi dub voices were used in that scene?, Perhaps it's just incomplete?
There are a number of videos with one game's music or the other and then the other game's dialogue. Even a few videos where the language switches mid match. It's all from an earlier build of the game where not everything was finished.

OK so this is probably a NP but it seems this is the only relevent place to put this, Gamespot has put up 3 new gameplay video's, a video preview, a Feature preview and 35 new screenshots.
Even without the in-game transformations this game is shaping up to be the best DBZ game yet, lets hope it lives up to the hype I have given it...

Since I live in Europe, the game will be released in 2 weeks, and I think that they haven't confirmed Uub, Omega Shenron, Supreme Kai and Kibitoshin from the previous game, so they probably won't be the game.

I think Gamespot and Gamefaqs (and probably some other sites) use a universal pass thing. Are you registered at Gamefaqs?

At the moment they are:
06 Okt Japan
14 Okt Europe
18 Okt USA

And yes your account on Gamefaqs and Gamespot is the same.
They also seem to share some (or maybe all) of the messageboards.

Those are ALL the fighters/fusions we're getting in the game, characters NOT making returns from previous Budokais are:

Omega Shenron
Uub
Supreme Kai
Kabitoshin
Gocule
Tiencha
Super Buu with Vegeta absorbed
Super Buu with Cell absorbed
Super Buu with Freeza absorbed
Super Buu with Yamcha and Tenshinhan absorbed
Cell with Krillin wholey absorbed *However, he was never able to be fought as anyway*

Also, such fighters as Broly and Cooler won't be getting their first forms, which IMO bites because they had awesome base forms. The issue with lacks of forms used in previous games and the 10 missing fighters/fusions is, I think, a marketing ploy to make fans and buyers aware that each previous Budokai game has something awesome that Budokai Tenkaichi will lack Well it works on me, I know I'm never selling or giving away my other PS2 games (even Sagas) because they each hold a significance in their own right, and because I want them all for the collecting purpose as well :D

But, you can import characters from B3, can't you? So in a way, they'll be in the game.

That's what's confirmed. Well, actually, it's not over 60. It's EXACTLY 56. The transformations push it up to EXACTLY 90. I've not completely given up on the possibility of hidden characters not confirmed and the "you've seen everyone already" line we've been getting being a lie. Especially with the 100 ranking mode. But most likely it's not a lie/ploy and we really have known everyone since mid August.
But, you can import characters from B3, can't you? So in a way, they'll be in the game.
You can only 'import' the stats (which get converted to the BT stats system) for characters that are IN BT. Which means, you can port over your level 99 Goku or Vegeta or what-have-you but you CAN NOT port Uub, Omega Shenron, or Supreme Kai as they have no BT counterparts.

Am I the only one that finds Freezas First Form character model poorly done? He looks a little to "squat" I guess would be the word. Especially his head.

I'd say Freeza looks just about as he should. o.O What exactly is wrong with his model?

And I'm saddened that Uub isn't making a return. Game deserves at least one more human compared to the amount of Saiyans and aliens (and Artificial Humans) in the game. Not to mention, Uub barely had much to work with in Budokai 3 (though quite the powerful character to use) and it'd have been at least neat to see a GT Uub. Though since this is a DBZ game afterall, I guess that's alright. :P

$10 says Europe once again gets the Japanese opening while the US gets shafted with a lame version. :s

I dunno if there's anything wrong to me. Though maybe what you're seeing is just because of the angle or pose he's in in that screen?

I wonder how this game turned out. The Japanese version is out by now...

From what I've heard from people on GameFaqs who downloaded the torrent it's pretty good. They've made a few complaints but only one of them's hated the game.

And yes, First Form Freeza's model is off. So is SSJ Trunks' and a few others too I think. Forget who all.

I usually try to avoid gamefaqs, but I've been dying to hear how this turned out.
Seems it's somewhat mixed reactions, but from what I've heard, at least it's not horrible. Many people seem to really like it, some more than Budokai 3.
I'm having a good feeling about it though. I'm more hyped to get it now. :P
