Ok, TRULY listen to this entire song, I don't think anyone else will know what I'm talking about unless you've played a lot of the older Dragonball games. I KNOW I've heard this in one of the old Playstation Dragonball games, I wanna say Final Bout. I'm still trying to track down the Dragonball track but I swear this sounds like a Dragonball track

Oh man, I know what song you're talking about, it really does sound similar. Now I just need to find the track I am thinking of...

EDIT: Got it! Well, it reminds me of "Never Ending, Never Give Up!" from Dragon Ball Z "Legends" for PS. I couldn't find an instrumental of it on youtube anywhere, so I quickly uploaded it myself from my copy of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNsUvZW24cg

it sounds familiar but I could almost promise that its a track from one of the PSX games, Final Bout is what I'm thinking

That is from one of the PSX games. I think there is another track that sounds like it too.

I was re-reading some of the later volumes of DragonBall and realized when Goten and Goku meet for the first time, that hug? It's filler!

Awww, I thought it might be.

Oh well, at least Goku's dick move was as well, when Gohan put his arms around Goku in a farewell embrace, and Goku just stands there until he puts his arms on Gohan's shoulders, you think he's going to hug him back.....but no, he grabs his shoulders and pulls him off.

WHAT? I think I might have missed this in the anime! He really DOES hug him back in the manga.

He can be a bit of a jerk in the anime...

Hahaha, that's hilarious. I remember that scene. I made a crappy little AMV using that scene once. When Goku reaches for Gohans shoulders, I slowed it down and paused it so it looked like Goku actually hugged back. Does adult Goku have something against hugging other adults? I can't remember a time when he hugged somebody else as an adult.

What the hell Toei...

I just watched the scene.He clearly hugs Gohan back in the manga , it's sweet father and son moment and the anime makes it seem like Gohan is needy for his father's afection. I don't get it.... and this isn't the first time Toei changed certain aspects that in turn ended up changing a character as a whole, but they mostly they do this with Goku.

^ To add on to those two scenes.....

The scene where Goku stops Gohan from going out to help Piccolo by punching him, that's not in the manga as well.

Toei left it in anyway. Cause.....Goku hits kids.
