This might just be wishful thinking, but maybe FUNimation is phasing out the Double Features in favor of a domestic Dragon Box: The Movies? I honestly like the Double Feature footage more, but I would go ahead and get Dragon Box: The Movies just for the beautiful cover art, wow...

Yeah that and the colors are bullshit.

This is why I created my "own" Double Features! I grabbed the English 5.1 and the subtitles and synced them to my Dragon Box: The Movies set. Now I got a great personal set and I rarely ever have to take out my original D-Box discs. I am scared now since I dropped one of my Z discs and it got badly scratched... Luckily, I got the disc resurfaced at Azuradisc and now its in perfect condition. Yes, I almost had a heart attack when the disc wouldn't play!

I honestly didn't know they were so hard to find and expensive as well. Something else that gets me is that the DVD versions of Kai are more expensive than the Blu-Ray versions are, what's with that?

After waiting and waiting, and even more waiting for a fair amount to suddenly appear on ebay, I went ahead and bought one for $69. I'd much rather pay $69 used on ebay than a brand new one for $150 on amazon.

So I bought this steelbook for $18 earlier this week... and I sort of won another one. I placed a bid on this before the $18 one came on and expected to be outbidded. This steelbook sold a couple hours before the one I won. Insanity?

Just had a mini heart attack, the luckiest I've got on ebay was buying a pioneer single for £5 and then the guy offered to throw in an extra 3 for £1.50 each.
(Yes I'm trying to get all of the old singles) (or at least up untill freeza)

Yeah I think I skipped out because I thought it was too good to be true. Plus that same seller sold a set of Cooler DVD's for $74 yesterday, so it didn't make sense to me that they'd slash that price if one set sold so easily...

Just as a note, when they reissue this disk again, the value of this will inevitably plummet. So think about that as you spend your money.

Right before Funimation reissued the new FLCL dvd + bluray, I sold my boxset for $140. The singles were going for around 90 bucks together. Once the reissue came out, I rebought the original singles for ~$10-15 a piece.

Yeah, this was pretty much the same story for Star Wars Episodes I and II on DVD for a little while (back before Episode III was released), could of been just in New Zealand, I don't know. People were trying to sell their copies for prices around $60-100 on Trademe but when they appeared in stores again, it dropped to $20-25 and is now $15.
