What if Piccolo Daimao dodged Goku?

During their final battle, when Goku puts all of his power into a one-arm Kamehameha and thrusts himself into the air to penetrate Piccolo, what if Piccolo simply dodged the attack instead of trying to block it? How would the series play out? Would Yamucha train in secret, possibly under Karin-sama, or would he also go and die like everyone else? Would Kami-sama decide he's had enough and order Mr. Popo to kill him or Piccolo or seal him up with the Mafuba? If that happened, would be there be ANY chance Kami-sama would still restore the dragon balls and wish the Dragon Ball Gang back? Would Tsuru-sennin and Cyborg Tao Pai Pai try to stop Piccolo eventually? Would the Earth be forever screwed when Raditz shows up?

Serious answer: Goku almost certainly dies, everyone is either killed or goes into hiding, and Raditz shows up. After Raditz kills Daimao and any remaining Earthlings, Freeza gets a new planet for his collection.

King Piccolo is weaker than Kami/God. However I attribute this to the former being imprisoned for years while Kami had time to train and get stronger.

I think King Piccolo could get stronger with time and he'll surpass his good counterpart. At this point he will forcibly merge with Kami, reclaim their original Nameless Namek power level, and WTFpwn the Saiyans when they come to Earth.

He's a true hero ya know.

And Tao strikes me as too much of a coward to ever try to oppose a being like Piccolo.

Is forcible fusion even possible? That's a scary thought. Imagine an alternate universe where Piccolo Daimao did that, then used Kami-sama's spaceship to find the rest of his race and forcibly fuse with all of them. Of course he'd probably no longer be evil, especially after multiple fusions. I'd put a hypothetical fusion of Daimao and Kami-sama at Nail levels personally. And a fusion of Daimao with EVERY Namekseijin would probably rival Vegetto IMO. That'd be a great villain in DB Multiverse; finally giving some respect to the Namekseijin race after the Cell Arc.

I like your idea though Kami-sama supposedly slacked on his training and fell behind Piccolo because of that. On a related note, I'm a filler guy so I try to explain the filler with Mutaito as Piccolo Daimao getting a lot weaker. It could also make the "half power" line work if Piccolo Daimao just THINKS he still has that much power hidden. Incredibly far-fetched I know, but still.

Oh. I understand now. Makes sense, though I think the Mafuba would be a much more reasonable option. Piccolo Daimao didn't seem nearly as smart as Ma Junior and was way too cocky for his own good so I don't think he would have invented the Reverse Mafuba. Being defeated by a little boy who survived entirely due to his carelessness (or plot hax I guess) and being reincarnated and thus starting fresh really changed him into a much better warrior.

I don't think he would have fused with Kami either. He would have thought he was strong enough and gone to Kami's temple and got killed by Kami or trapped in the Mafuba by Popo.

I don't think he could have dodged it, he doesn't know the flying technique and you can't exactly move when you're in the middle of the air.

Piccolo Daimaô would kill Son Gokû, Tenshinhan and Yamcha (who was going to help Gokû and Tenshinhan with Bulma and the others). He would then rampage the world for a while, and then God would fly down and beat the crap out of Piccolo before using the Mafûba on him. Piccolo wouldn't have developed the Reverse Mafûba by this time because he would be so arrogant that he's invincible, the King of the World and no-one can touch him. And after the Muten-Rôshi died, Piccolo said that he didn't believe there was anyone who knew the Mafûba, but now he was dead too. So, to him, there's no-one else who can know the Mafûba anymore, which was probably why Piccolo basically abandoned his plan to kill the participants of the Tenka'ichi Budôkais for the last 10 years or so.

After sealing Piccolo in a jar and taking it back to God's Palace, God would restore the Dragon Balls and Shenlong (because, like in the original story, as long as there are even a few pure people like Gokû, he believes that the Dragon Balls should exist), and Bulma would revive everyone who'd been killed by Piccolo Daimaô. Gokû wouldn't go to God's Palace because he only went there to ask God to restore the DBs and be trained to defeat Piccolo. So Goku and the others would train for the 23rd Tenka'ichi Budôkai. Gokû would defeat King Chapa and Chaozu would be defeated by Tao Pai Pai in the preliminaries, and in the main tournament, Tenshinhan would defeat Tao Pai Pai and Gokû would defeat Chi-Chi, then get married, as normal. Kuririn and Yamcha would be matched up either with each other and some other prelim jobbers.

Five years later, Raditz comes to Earth and attempts to recruit Gokû. Gokû refuses, Raditz defeats Gokû and kidnaps Gohan, as normal. Because there's no Piccolo, Gokû, Kame-sennin and Kuririn go after Raditz like they were going to before Piccolo interrupted (Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Chaozu don't fight because no-one knows their whereabouts). Raditz kills them, destroys everyone on the planet before Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Chaozu can be trained by God, and sells Earth to a race looking for living space. Vegeta never gets his chance to overthrow Freeza because he doesn't know about the DBs that grant him immortality, and he forever lives under Freeza's rule in quiet resentment.

Piccolo does know how to fly, because we see him do it. And even if you can't fly, you can still move when you're in the air. Goku and Namu did it during their battle, and I think there are other instances too. If anyone can provide scans, it would be appreciated.
