Ok thanks! I was wondering about that since I got them. I wish they were smaller boxes too. They're taking up space in my closet lol.

That box looks friggin cool. Combined with that figure it's a real trophy. I agree on him being the only one worth buying......pose is frickin suave.

Again somebody nabbing for a steal. Another entry in the files of the "Life isn't fair"-department.

Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo... Vegetto will eat Trunks for breakfast.
These HSCF boxes take up a lot of space, damn... one of my primary concerns as my collection grows is damn space for the boxes! Oh man I hate the Legend of Saiyan DX boxes too, they take up so much space. Way too much space for the figures. They should have been HQDX sized boxes.

I really want that trunks figure. what exactly do I have to search for to be able to find it on ebay?

This looks like the same figure but in a different box?

I just won this from ebay for $40 total. I don't think it comes with the box though. Do you guys think it was worth it? I mean, c'mon....it's SSJ4 Gogeta! Raithos, just wait till I get this in the mail. It'll kick your Vegetto's ass easy. If it was cannon...and of the same line of figures .

They all came with the obi; I just removed them as they kept slipping off anyway.
The Japanese Laser Disc art is so pretty. I love the art for Movie 10.

My latest purchase is pre-ordering Dragon Box 6.

I have two of those, nice catch though :).
I tend to have a bad habit of getting doubles of my favourites, and SSJ4 Gogeta was the first (and second) HQDX figures I ever bought.

And also just for kicks I have an SSJ Vegetto from the HQDX line, canon of course sitting underneath my extra Majin Vegeta ;)

Aww you sick jerk. How much would it take for me to take one of the Gogeta boxes off your hands? If, of course, mine doesn't come with one lol.

They really are masterpieces each of of their own. They have an amazing amount of detail and represent a physical incarnation of some of our most beloved characters. I believe the reason why we buy these, well at least for myself anyways is becuase we are so fond of the character and what they represent or the specific time period in which they were prominent. Because the likeness reminds us of events that happened - whether it be in the anime, or that affected the character, or even in real life, it is becuase they can remind of us something that these figures boast such significance to us. I for one love my figures, almost every single one of them has a place within my heart, and those that I'm especially fond of I wouldn't give up for anything. At least that is my reasoning behind buying figures. And not to mention things like the special quality of the figure, the likeness of the character itself being someone's favourite, or just he general appeal of the figure- etc, etc.

It all starts with one figure, that just really catches your eye, once that happens and you get it, then you think well, I've always liked ... and before you know it you just buy them for the sake of it, even if you don't like a figure much, if you like the rest of the set, you'll get the ones you don't like. :D
Next to get; Leged of Saiyan figures and Freeza's force

If anyone sees
Any of the Legend of Saiyan line going cheapish
Or any other Banpresto DBZ figure :)

If anyone has a cooler steelbook dvd that wants to sell it (prefer new but used is fine) when/if the dragon box movies comes out contact me :)

I don’t know if you’re referring to the figures the others were posting or just figures in general, but I collect figures because … well, they’re lovely to look at! Some of the higher quality figures are just stunning, an art form in itself. At some point I’d like to start making my own figures, either from scratch or for using existing figures as a base. That's another reason I buy (articulated) figures - so I can disassemble them to see how they're put together, why they work and such.
The final reason I buy figures is - as geekish as it sounds - because I like figure photography. It’s a fun little hobby, planning each shot to perfectly create the mood you wish to convey, I love it.

I'm a collector. When I see a figure or item featuring a character I like, it's an instinct to want to have it. It makes me happy to see my own collection.
It's also almost therapeutic to organize them, making sure everything looks good and can fit together in whatever space I have. Toy collecting is my wonderful amazing hobby, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

But back to toys...

Image
Trunks LoS! I desire more of these figures now, they are beautiful and shiny and the detail is awesome.
(I'm picky though)

This now holds my phone. It's amazingly nerdy. The back at the bottom says "Military equipment"

Not new, I just never took a pic of it. Small puzzle, but awesome. Look at that art I love it. I want a frame (rather than glue) but the dimensions are weird.
