So here's my final and decisive revision to my Majin Boo arc numbers for the foreseeable future. I really wanted to just cast off the shackles of over-complicated theories and all their headaches, take in the worthwhile feats from the arc, call 'em as I sees 'em, and end up with something nice and even and simple to use as a basis for my GT Revised numbers. So here we go!

Yeah, I don't like the idea of Piccolo being weaker than Kaioshin the useless putz either, but I don't really have any "choice," you could say. It's not just the manga dialogue, which could be up to interpretation, but the Daizenshuu support it by saying he's stronger as well.

In fact, it does say "far stronger," so now that seems like too small a gap. :/

I would also add that his IQ would fall below at least 50 at that point too.

Yeah, well unfortunately, IQ doesn't really factor into Battle Power. Otherwise Goku would never win anything.

These are pretty damn good! I'm on the fence about Kaioshin vs Piccolo. Anyways these are some of the best power levels I've ever seen!, my list will be coming up soon!, Godo has a point with the Kaioshin thing i have to rethink my postion on Piccolo vs Kaioshin, so far i have Kaioshin above Piccolo but I'm on the fence.

This is my battle power list for the Bardock special.

A Final Solitary Battle

Bardock: 6,000
Zenkai: 10,000
He's the strongest of his teammates, almost as strong as Nappa, an elite member of the nobility. He becomes even stronger after his Zenkai, and as he's healing after his mission on Kanassa, the doctors attending him mention that his power should now be close to 10,000 (I figured he eventually reached it, as that comment was made while he was still healing and probably growing in power). While he easily tears through the soldiers of Dodoria who killed his comrades, he's overpowered in one blast by Dodoria and later killed by Freeza in an attack that also destroys Planet Vegeta.

Toma: 3,700
Selypa: 3,000
Totapo: 3,400
Pumbukin: 3,200
They're all extremely strong for low-class Saiyans, but were ultimately killed by Dodoria and his men. Toma's the strongest because Daizenshuu 7 says that he serves as a sub-leader-type figure for the group, and he's given more attention in the story than the others (being the last survivor and the one who tells Bardock of Freeza's betrayal). Selypa's the weakest because females are, on average, weaker than males.

In the Freeza arc, Vegeta mentions that he'd already surpassed the King back when he was a kid, and while it doesn't have to mean that he'd already surpassed him at the age of 5, I think it has more impact if it was back when he was 5 and the King was alive. You may think that he should be weaker so there's more room for him to gain power over those 25 years, but I wanted him to be stronger than the King, who I thought was stronger than Bardock. I figured that, being the strongest Saiyan warrior in existence, he didn't get many Zenkais and mostly stood at the sidelines while Nappa did the dirty work (in the Saiyan arc, he was annoyed that he'd have to dirty his hands on "someone like Kakarotto"). Part of his power came from natural growth into an adult.
Both the King and Nappa are stronger than Bardock initially, but only the King is stronger than Bardock after his Zenkai. Again, you may think that Nappa should be weaker so there's more room for him to gain power over those 25 years, but I think he was stronger than Bardock before his Zenkai, who I believe was stronger than Gokuu's suppressed level of 5,000 in the Saiyan arc.

Raditz: 500
I know he didn't appear in the special, but I felt like mentioning him anyway, since he was one of the four Saiyans who escaped his race's genocide. Anyway, read dbgtFO's explanation. I think Raditz was 11, and would have his 12th birthday in that year, when Planet Vegeta was destroyed.

Saibaimen: 1,200
One of the mooks monitoring Vegeta's fight with the Saibaimen mentions that they were "strength-enhanced", which, according to Daizenshuu 7, are the same type of Saibaimen Vegeta and Nappa use in the main series. Of course, they are nothing for Vegeta, who finishes them off without breaking a sweat.

Dodoria's men: 7,000—8,000
They collectively defeated Bardock's teammates, but were thrashed by Bardock.

Dodoria: 20,000
Zarbon: 21,000
I think that Dodoria and Zarbon were complacent, stayed comfortably at Freeza's side and rarely, if at all, faced an opponent that posed a challenge to them. But I still had them improve over those 25 years, on account of natural growth by fighting opponents.

Freeza: 525,000
Freeza was complacent as well, and most likely laid back in his hoverchair for the majority of the time while he let his henchmen do the slaughtering. But he too still naturally grew in power.

Even though this power level chart was fan-made, I rather liked the look of it. So I tried to make an experimental power level list out of it, using the later numbers as a template. Interestingly enough, things ended up meshing together rather well with the way I already do things (though I suppose the fact that both I and the chart-maker use the official SEG-inspired multipliers is the biggest reason for that). It even ended up inspiring one or two new tricks I haven't done before.

So here we go... I'll be commenting on each entry this time around, both in general regards to the list and my thoughts on what the "inspiration" chart had.

MULTIPLIERS

Super Saiyan - 50x Base
Super Saiyan Grade 2 - 75x Base
Super Saiyan Grade 3 - 125x Base
Super Saiyan 2 - 100x Base
Super Saiyan 3 - 400x Base

Yes, you read that right, for this list I've trying out having Super Saiyan Grade 3 grant more raw power than Super Saiyan 2, as an experiment. It seemed appropriate given how much stronger it was supposed to be than Grade 2 with Trunks. It works from a narrative standpoint too; Grade 3 over-emphasizes raw power to a ridiculous degree, whereas Super Saiyan 2 is far more balanced. It'd also work with Cell becoming desperate for more power against Gohan; even if he's stronger, all he's got is raw power and that won't help him much.

I'll also have to fiddle around and see how this could work with Broly's "Legendary" Super Saiyan state, which I essentially treat as a "Grade 4." Maybe it'd be something like 150x for him? Should be interesting.


TRUNKS

Mecha Freeza - 10,000,000

• • Not much different here than what I've always done... Trunks is more or less equal to Goku on Namek, though Goku is slightly ahead. King Cold at 90 million is from the chart, whereas in the past I've usually plunked him right at 100 million.

ANDROIDS

• • Super Saiyan Vegeta at 200 million is lifted from the chart, and Goku is pretty much his equal. Getting their Ki drained away by the Androids significantly weakens them both, as does Goku's heart disease which gets worse and worse as his battle with #19 progresses.
    
    This is a little lower than where I usually put them, which would be pushing 250 million and giving a little more credit to their training. But if this were official I'd have no problem with it. The story suggests they still weren't too far ahead of Trunks anyhoo.

Piccolo - 100,000,000

• Merged with Kami - 300,000,000

• • His pre-merger level is a little lower than I've put it recently due to the first set of Androids being weaker, but his post-merger level is the same as my "standard."

Android 19 - 30,000,000

• + Absorbed Ki - 60,000,000

Android 20 - 60,000,000

• + Absorbed Ki - 75,000,000

• • These guys' levels are constantly changing. Who cares.

• • Androids 17 and 18 are the same as I've had them for a long while now. Piccolo has a slight edge on Android 18, but begins losing the battle as it drags on because of his decidedly non-infinite stamina. Android 16 got a generous little bump up from my usual of 350 million, since the chart's powers for the Semiperfect Cell battles gave me some more room to "expand" between here and there.

CELL

Imperfect Cell - 150,000,000

• Humans Absorbed - 400,000,000

Semiperfect Cell - 600,000,000

• • Here is where things start to get bigger than I've had them in the past. Semiperfect Cell's full power is all of Android 17's power added to his Imperfect self and then some extra, but still not anything for "Super Vegeta" to worry about. Perfect Cell's initial power still seems inferior to Vegeta, but then when he gets a little serious...

Vegeta - 14,000,000

• Super Saiyan - 700,000,000
  Super Saiyan Grade 2 - 1,000,000,000

• • The power level for "Super Vegeta," an even 1 billion, is from the chart. His Super Saiyan and base levels are worked backwards from it using my multipliers.

• • And here's where things get really interesting. Using SSj Grade 3 with a higher multiplier than even Super Saiyan 2 is an interesting experiment... it makes sense too. Grade 3 puts a really absurd emphasis on raw power, whereas SSj2 would be almost as powerful but more well-rounded. This insane burst puts Trunks ahead of the power Cell used to beat Vegeta, as stated, but he's still at a disadvantage due to the speed cut.

CELL GAMES

Perfect Cell - 2,500,000,000

• Full Power - 4,000,000,000
  Bulked Up - 6,000,000,000
  Super Perfect - 5,000,000,000

• • Cell's full power is from the chart. Using that as his equivalent of "Grade 2" as I usually do actually worked out nicely, and (with some light rounding) put him right in line at 2.5 billion, where he should be against Goku at 2 billion. Goku can put up a great fight, but Cell maintains the edge. With his Grade 3-esque heavy-weighted form, he actually gains more raw brute power than Gohan, but is still left ineffective and vulnerable to Gohan's attacks.

Son Goku - 40,000,000

• Super Saiyan - 2,000,000,000

• • The chart is a bit misleading because it has Cell Games Goku's picture at 3 billion, stronger than Gohan at 2.5 billion. However, that 3 billion for Goku actually seems to be his Boo arc power, because A) it lines up with the chart's number for Yakon, with the creator using a 1 Kiri = 1,000,000 BP scale, and it's what SSj3 Goku's level of 24 billion would be worked from. So Cell Games Goku here is instead at 2 billion, somewhat behind Gohan.

Just picked a few somewhat-stronger levels for these guys, and went as I usually do with Vegeta and Trunks abandoning the "grades" in favor of imitating Goku and Gohan's "full-power Super Saiyan" route. Vegeta has overcome the power that Cell used to beat him, which leads him to believe he can win. He sure can't.

• • Kaioshin is stronger than Piccolo but is a totally useless putz. Fusing with Kibito, who is strong enough to give base Gohan a challenge, didn't increase his power enough to be of any use against Majin Boo.

Pui Pui - 500,000
Yakon - 800,000,000
Dabra - 2,250,000,000

• • Pui Pui sucks. Yakon's level is lifted from the chart, and is supposed to be a Kiri/BP correlation. Sure, why not. Nothing says Goku actually stood a chance against him in base, I suppose.

Gotenks - 80,000,000

• Super Saiyan - 4,000,000,000
  Super Saiyan 3 - 32,000,000,000

• • Gotenks' Super Saiyan level is lifted from the chart. His base form is derived from the multipliers, of course, as is his Super Saiyan 3 level, to be an even match for what the chart listed for Evil Boo. I'd normally have Gotenks' "SSj3 Combat Level" be somewhat weaker, at, say... 25 million.
    
    But for the sake of this one experimental list we'll assume that Gotenks is special and can use SSj3's full power because he's a Fusion, in exchange for his time being cut short. If I base future things off of this list, however, this might not be the case, and I'll possibly ignore the level from the chart for Evil Boo.

Fat Boo - 10,000,000,000

• • Too much for any of the Super Saiyan 2s (or Gotenks, hahaha) to handle.

Mister Boo - 4,000,000,000

• • The minority half of Fat Boo's power.

Pure Evil Boo - 6,000,000,000

• • The majority half of Fat Boo's Power.

Evil Boo - 32,000,000,000

• + Gotenks - 65,000,000,000
  + Gohan - 80,000,000,000

• • This dude is a total beast, way too much for Goku to handle without Fusion. His Gotenks and Gohan-absorbed powers are just a matter of addition and some moderate rounding.

Pure Boo - 20,000,000,000

• • He's pretty damn strong, comparable to Super Saiyan 3 Goku, whom could have wiped him out if he reached full power.

Super Vegetto - HOLY $#!%

• • Vegetto. 'Nuff said.

Well, that about does it! I rather like the way this turned out, especially with the more generous and sensible spacing in the Cell arc. I'll give it some time, but I may make THIS list be my new standard which I base my GTR levels and stuff off of (and boy howdy, wait 'til you see what THAT results in!).

What if you take the Jump Special into consideration? Wouldn't that throw off Goten and Trunks' numbers because Abo and Cado were supposed to be about as strong as Freeza while they were consdered a good challenge for the kids?

Yep. People tend to overlook this fact a LOT. Or maybe just ignore it. I dunno. But there's exactly a 0% chance Tarble was even referring to 4th form Freeza's resting power, let alone his full power. At best he would have known about 2nd form Freeza, and that's it.

Yeah. Freeza's closest subordinates (namely Zarbon, at least) barely even knew he could transform at all, much less multiple times and then reach an unheard-of battle power of over a hundred million. The only ones who would know about that are his family, I suppose. And we can PROBABLY assume that when Kaioshin used Freeza as a measuring stick, he knew about Freeza's true full power as well.

And even that's not a given, seeing as how the Kais of Dragonball are far from Omniscient. Something both North Kai and Kaioshin demonstrate more than once. I don't doubt that Kaioshin at least knew of Freeza's 4th form and had an idea of his full power, but I would be shocked if he actually knew the exact figure.

I always took that line as referring to his 100% powered up state. Now that I think of it though, Gohan didn't actually see Freeza at 100% in the manga, did he? In any case that makes sense now that you've explained it.
