While reading this:
http://www.daizex.com/general/feature/yamamoto.shtml
I came over this:
It is actually somewhat surprising that Yamamoto did not use more of his own works, or at least adaptations thereof, for DragonBall Kai. A few references popped up here and there, such as something ever-so-slightly resembling the Budokai 2 opening theme appearing in instrumental form during the break before the Jinzôningen would appear, and a track from the first Budokai game ("The Man Called C") showing up pretty close to itself as a new piece of BGM.
What tracks is VegettoEX talking about?
Also known as "GeniDude" and "NerdyNorwegian"!

The tracks he is referring to are 'The Clouds of War Spread' and an un-released track used towards the end of episode 58 when the Z-Fighters are preparing for the Androids.

Actually, the piece that sounds like the
Budokai 2 opening was released. It's track 25 on "
Dragon Ball Kai Soundtrack III & Songs".
