I find it funny that the same people who think Nappa putting up a fight when he's half as strong as Goku have no problem with SSjin 2 Gohan dominating the hell out of Perfect Cell with a 1.5x difference, if not even less.

Let it rest Catoutta... nothing else good can come from this topic it seems. Not until the opposition starts accounting for many of the points we made which have been unanswered for the entire duration of this debate, at length.

Nappa is reckless. Without someone there to calm him down, he would easily lose to Ghurd if he caught him in his body freeze (or whatever that's called) and impale him like he was going to do to Gohan and Kuririn.

I also think (sorry, Forte. I had to) it's funny how Vegeta's own words aren't enough to imply Nappa's Battle Power is at a capable level of fighting Goku. I mean, the same Vegeta already showed that he was smart enough to assess that the earthlings ability to change their powers could potentially be a problem for them in battle, hence the suggestion to Nappa to remove the scouter. He's not dumb. And he's certainly not portrayed to be stupid enough to believe his half as strong as the enemy partner has a chance in a battle.

Now he sees someone who he's rated at "Over 8,000" and thinks his partner can defeat someone at that level AFTER seeing him (Nappa) skool'd all crazy? I don't give a damn about the numbers, either. The point is the story shows that a relaxed Nappa can hold his own against Goku once he calmed down, and posed enough of a danger to him when he released his best attack--and that Goku never outclassed "calm" Nappa until he used his Kaioken attack. There's absolutely nothing showing Goku outclassed calm Nappa.

And before someone mentions "uncharged" Kame-Hame-Ha....Goku used that quite a few times. Not to mention Goku was somewhat surprised that Nappa even stopped the Kame-Hame-Ha with no damage, so the attack wasn't just some weak sauce of a Chi-blast, and that quote alone is enough to prove it.

Then you have not one, but two statements of the battle possibly lasting all day if other factors (Vegeta, Kaioken) didn't come into play. He only decided to intervene when he realized the fight was going nowhere, just like this debate.

TL:DR: Nappa at his best is in the same league as Goku, excluding the Kaioken. Vegeta agrees with this, and so does Goku.

This sums it up nicely, and the part I bolded is really the one piece of evidence I've never seen a "Nappa is 4000" supporter refute.
