I'm not saying #16 should have died, I'm just saying it should have been handled differently. Anything could be better than, "Sorry I"m gonna die." "No don't do it!" "Never mind, just kidding."

I hoped that #16 would have won and got his hands on one of the Goku's. Oh, well.

I thought that was a pretty nice ending to the fight. It's good that they aren't always going with big finishes, or letting the popular characters win every time.

Having #16 lose, but be happy to be acknowledged as a man seems like a good way to finish a pretty good fight.

It's no less anti-climactic than say, Roshi jumping out of the ring in his fight against Tenshinhan.

They actually had something going there. Then they just break it off with a "I've learned my lesson""-ending.

Badass Videl w/ Z Sword vs King Cold? Epic! I think this means U9 Mr Satan is actually a hero of Earth, and not a fake (which has been anticipated as a jokey U21 but now I think he will be a serious fighter in the manga, possibly to face off against Raditz.

It's the universe where Kuririn is the badass new elderly Turtle Hermit master-dude, Yamcha is that Universe's Android 17 and as cool as any version of Yamcha will ever get, and Tenshinhan is so incredibly powerful and awesome that he can beat gag characters.

Goku died at a very young age. That seems to be the detail that caused U9's ripple effect. The humans defeated Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta when they showed up and presumably Freeza, too. And apparently without Goku around, Dr. Gero went in a radically different direction with his androids.

I had to put the comic on hold because I'm currently working on the special (as well as other comics). But I don't see the harm in showing a sneak peak. The sketches are really rough and messy so give me some time to clean them up and probably by early next week I'll have something to show you guys.

Its a shame we never got to see neither Videl nor King Cold fight seriously.Just Videl being brutalized and King Cold being owned.So I'm looking forward to this
