Budokai 3 and X-Men Legends Music

I know. What the hell am I mentioning X-Men here for?

Well, I dunno if this has ever been brought up before, but I was playing X-Men Legends today (my first time through). I think it was a part of the U.S.S. Arbiter level.

Anyway, this area's music is EXACTLY the same music as the music in the Buu's Insides level in Budokai 3. The quiet part of that level music, anyway, that's at the start of the match. Not just the notes, but I mean the instruments too. It's the exact same audio.

Has anyone else played both games and noticed this? I checked to see if they had the same music composer, but I couldn't find Budokai 3's composer. X-Men Legends' is Zack Quarles. Anyone know Budokai 3's composer?

I noticed this. But eh no, the levels don't have the exact same music, as B3 only plays that sequence for a few moments before playing heavy stuff. X-Men, I remember does thsi for the entire level, playing that part into the sequence

And B3's composer is Kenji Yamomoto.

B3 has different music for the American version by a different composer.

There's a chance the same guy did both games.

Well I said "The quiet part of that level (Buu's Insides) music, anyway, that's at the start of the match."

So yeah, I know it's not the whole level, but even having that little part surprised me.

Thanks. Do all version of Budokai 3 / DragonBall Z 3 have the same ingame music, making Kenji Yamomoto the composer for the North American version too?

Umm... no it doesn't. It's Sparking! that has different music between the JP/US versions. And from what I understand, the US version is just old Budokai music.

Umm... no it doesn't. It's Sparking! that has different music between the JP/US versions. And from what I understand, the US version is just old Budokai music.

That just confuses me more as to why I'm hearing the exact same song snippet from 2 completely different composers in 2 games that have nothing to do with eachother.
