Will this come to the XBOX

Currently it's arcade only. The last Dragonball arcade game that wasn't card based was ported onto the PS2. There is a good chance, but no guarantee, that this game will make it's way over to the PS3 and 360.

I don't see why not. I mean, the hard work is already done. Just port and press some discs. Even if you don't make a whole lot of money, you'll still make a profit.

Sorry to bump this up (didn't really see the need of making a new topic) but it seems like Namco are ready to put this game out onto the Xbox 360 and PS3, which is due for a Fall release of 2011.

It's apparently supposed to be "developed with the plan of making a never-before-seen Dragon Ball game". Let's hope they can live up to that.

Go back to the actual source for this kind of stuff, folks. As of right this very second, the Tales fansite/blog has supposed information from next week's Jump that states:

• Dragon Ball GAME PROJECT AGE 2011
• Scheduled for Fall 2011
• Price TBD
• Coming from Namco-Bandai
• Coming to PS3 & 360
• 3D action fighting

That's it. It doesn't say, "Oh hey, this game is Zenkai Battle Royale". It doesn't say anything else. At all.

This all being said, the same Tales site is the one who (last November) posted up information confirming the inclusion of the "Ultimate Butoden" announcement in that next week's issue of Jump, and we saw the page to confirm it later that same day. I have no reason to doubt them with this one again. Like last year, though, I'll wait until I see the actual page from Jump before rushing to any conclusions/confirmations.

As an extra "that all being said", perhaps I will break this series of posts into its own thread if it ends up being a different game...

Aside from the fact that this is in Japan AND is an arcade game......I dare anyone to find me a trailer of a PS2 and on game trailer that has HALF as much amazingness as that one did.

Interesting. Transformations don't seem to be incorporated too much so far, so I wonder how this will play out.
