Very true, but we also see an ordinary bullet pierce clean through Super Buu whereas earlier a much weaker Super Saiyan Gohan caught a series a bullets in the palm of his hand with each one getting flattened upon impact. I'd say Buu is a bit of an exception with his gummy body. They never had any trouble literally blowing him to pieces. I believe Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta even blew Buu up and still got his ass kicked.

What about Goku IT'ing to Dende instead of standing around waiting to be killed by Cell Jrs? Or have at least Trunks attack Cell after he spit out 18. After all any one of the Saiyans could win by that point.

I've always be confused about #17 and #18's bombs. Are they even mentioned before Kuririn wishes for the dragon to remove them?

Nope. Apparently Kuririn just assumed that if No.16 had one, they would too. Or something.

Didn't #18 threat Semi-Perfect Cell to blow herself up if he came closer (when they were on that island)? I don't remember it perfectly, but Kuririn may have been there to hear it.

She threatened to destroy herself, but a bomb isn't mentioned. She just holds her hand over her chest ready to blast herself, but Cell tells her he's fast enough to stop her before she can even charge an energy bullet.

Yes, after #17 was absorbed, #18 threatened to blow herself up if semi-perfect Cell came any closer, but Kuririn wasn't there at that time. He only came in during Super Vegeta's fight with Cell.

How would that happen at all. Super Saiyan 1 Gohan was more powerful than all those jokers (and Piccolo) put together.

Also, IIRC, weren't they all prevented to getting close because of the force of the waves. And besides, even if they were able to get close and help, I doubt it would have made any difference. Vegeta's blast only distracted Cell, allowing Gohan to finish him off.

Best alternate way? Make sell absorb Krillin instead. I know, i know Budokai's "What if" = non-canon but damn it, in my mind mini-cell = canon!
