That's kind of like Def Jam: Icons. But wouldn't that be a bit annoying having the music constantly change back an forth like that?TheDevilsCorpse wrote: Use standard stage music for when fights are starting and relatively even, and then if they could find a nice way to fade into a character's specific music when winning by a certain margin (maybe 20% more health than the opponent) and keep it playing until the tides turn or the fight starts to come to a close with people about to die.

I guess it depends on your taste of music and how well all the tracks might flow together. Obviously a mellow song transitioning into rock songs into metal into opera would be bad, but that isn't the kind I'm talking about. lolmysticboy wrote: That's kind of like Def Jam: Icons. Am I the only one who wants the score fromthe actual show in the games? Yes, that includes Faulconer as well as the JP score.
If we are PLAYING the show, why not listen to the show insteadofrandom madeup music that could be the default in ANY game? [aside from the main theme for the game.]

DBZ bootlegs have the movie 9 cover with the pioneer movie 2 description on the back and the disc actually has a Japanese soap opera in MEPG2.

Well, the Raging Blast games have used some songs from Kikuchi's score but these were removed in the North American and European releases for one reason or another. Funimation's replacement score won't be included for obvious reasons.LeprikanGT wrote:Am I the only one who wants the score fromthe actual show in the games? Well atleast if this game flops i can still look forward to Tekken Tag 2, Tekken x Street Fighter and the new Soul Calibur.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

It means we know Goku has mad freerunning/parkour skills, why he would need them when he can fly, I dunno.mysticboy wrote:http://www.control-online.nl/gamesindus ... udeerders/

Yes, it means that a student could probably model a 3D render of Goku better than Spike.mysticboy wrote:http://www.control-online.nl/gamesindus ... udeerders/

Re: Dragonball: Project Age - PS360 - First Scan [6/5/2011]
Information put together via live posts from Keza MacDonald who is at the Level Up event in Dubai.
9:44 Keza MacDonald: Focus is on quality these days. They're also partnering with Codemasters in many terrirories too, which means we get to see Bodycount et cetera today.
10:10 Keza MacDonald: New Dragonball game also - working title
10:10 Keza MacDonald: Dragonball Game Project 2011 on PS3 and X360 this autumn
10:11 Keza MacDonald: Very brief, vague trailer that one
---event over, questions for those in the live chat begins---
10:18 Keza MacDonald: Dragon Ball trailer: showed gameplay, I think, but not much that I could easily recognise
10:21 Keza MacDonald: I'm sorry about the Dragonball trailer, I don't know the games intimately - but that trailer will be on the Internet very soon indeed, we'll post a story on it
10:22 Keza MacDonald: Dragonball was fighting
10:24 Keza MacDonald: Trailers will be online within the hour I would presume
So, apparently Namco Bandai is trying to focus on quality these days, what that means for Dragon Ball, I dunno, as it didn't really seem to apply in the past. lol
EDIT: I was the one who asked if the Dragon Ball trailer shows any gameplay. lol Updating with anything else said on the game.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.Rukura about Sparking Omega wrote:I'm imagining people from Namco Bandai looking at these big sites talking about the announcement and them going "Wait....what?! What's the 'new age of dragonballz'?
Also, when in the story would that Oozaru picture be... or is it just like a cutscene/intro?
