Oh, Okay then. Yeah, that would be great.Jaruka wrote:No, no. The rips and tears are minor. I mean small battle damage that react to the damage you're taking aside from if you get hit by an ultimate or the scratches that appear after half a bar of health goes.

Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
When they say there's a mode to experience the "new AGE of Dragon Ball Z", I hope they mean a story mode of sorts that happens sometime around the timeline of Dragon Ball Online, or something that happens after Dragon Ball GT. Like Dragon Ball AF... I'm just joking. (They better not do that.) Or hell, maybe some kind of side story or something.
Also, I'm totally getting this at launch, unless I change my mind, which at this point, is pretty unlikely (Yes, it's just been announced, but still, it looks awesome.), since the game looks like something I've been waiting for since god knows how long.

The game looks pretty. Not much to say on the gameplay just yet, but I'm excited.

I have to say, though, I am liking the inclusion of the beam struggles and planetary shots. They might as well try to up the scale if this is going to be a 'realistic' game.
Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
They might as well call it Raging Blast 3.

Ah, okay (nods) It just seems like the title is being given more fanfare than something like "Naruto PS3 Project" (the later Narutimate Storm game). I'd never expect the game to reach stores with this name, but it really doesn't feel that way at this point.VegettoEX wrote:Press release states it's a working title. I'm rather let down that Spike is making it but I think the game could be better then the past two games. Only time will tell.

Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
The trailer leaves me excited, but not really wow'd yet. I'm liking the effects for attacks what seems to be real time damage to arena from said attacks, it is about time. The previous destructible environments were pretty much a letdown through all the games, but I don't really need to say that do I? =P I'm liking the Oozaru at the end of the trailer too, even if it isn't playable, possibly having real boss battles, against giants even, may be something nice to try out in Story Mode. I'm also enjoying the way Super Saiyans are treated this time. While I actually prefer the pale hair from Raging Blast and not the orange crap from Raging Blast 2 (though the flashing was nice touch, I hope they kind of keep that too), I'm willing to give the bright yellow a chance since it actually feels like the form is giving off light since the rest of the model has a yellow glow as well.
But, the best part of the entire trailer, IMO, is in the below screen shot. Holly freaking shit, a Vegeta who isn't from the Saiyan or Freeza Arcs actually has some real battle damage. I don't care if it is the crappy prerenderd progressive type in RB2 or if it is now determined in realtime via hit detection, the damage may not technically be much, but its long overdue either way.

Yeah, those screenshots are lovely. I'm really looking forward to more videos and images for this game.

Found a bunch more screenshots here in this Chinese message forum.
Apparently, this game is going to be 3D compatible and the Xbox360 version will support the Kinect.

So this means we finally get Dragon Ball and GT characters in HD?http://www.post76.com/discuss/viewthread.php?tid=71227 wrote:Spike's Dragon Ball fighting works again. Namco Bandai yesterday announced a tentatively titled Dragon Ball Game Project's new works. The new Pearl will be forced to really work "role to restore" as a selling point. Being only know this works will correspond to 3D, while the 360 will correspond to Kinect. Also for the addition of the II series, including Dragon Ball, there will be the role of super-massive selection.

I would prefer something along the lines of: 'Dragon Ball: Ultimate Battle Simulator', or 'Dragon Ball: Unlimited'.mysticboy wrote:They might as well call it Raging Blast 3.

Yeah, you have to join the site to be able to see/download the attachments. I'm not willing to go through that, so I'll hope someone else will or that the finder returns to post them. lol I'm just too lazy and I don't feel like joining another forum that I can't understand a word on and that I'll forget about in like 10 minutes. =Psangofe wrote:Sorry mate, but i don't see the shots, can you post 'em here?

Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
I do hope that "Dragon Ball: Game Project 2011" really is a momentary name for it since it's just as akward as if they had named Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter Project 2010. Title aside I truly hope that they give the Raging Blast engine a revision seeing as pretty much every game stayed the same similar to Dynasty Warriors.
